She wasn't overtly gorgeous. It was really just something most people overlooked. Like the way she had a slight overbite, so her teeth weren't that perfect and when she smiled, you knew something was off--or the light brown color of her hair. It wasn't really light brown, but she let it get just a wee bit greasy and it went from blonde to brown just like that. She had a slight lazy eye and her nails looked gnawed on, but she wasn't ugly, it was just a subtle beauty and these were all things that I loved about her.
