Day 8: Forefront

On the forefront, each one of them stood. Strong chests and broad shoulders were out proud and strong, like shields. The fear that any of them might have felt was shoved so far back that you couldn't see it in their eyes. Their blood was running, but it was for the people they protected. They were here for one thing; to keep their home and their families safe and they would let no harm come to those they loved. That was their reason for being and nothing else mattered.
