It Was My Mistake (Jeon Jungkook ff)

Chapter 1

"We'll be having a new student class!" The teacher announced. "You can come in now."

I walked into the classroom, greeted by girls squealing and whispers. My eyes wondering to everyone quickly before stopping at one person who didn't react like the others but just looked at her book that she was reading.

"Annyeonghaseyo, my name is Jungkook. It's nice to meet you." I introduced plainly.

"Alright Jungkook, you can sit in that empty seat behind Y/N. Y/N, please raise your hand." The teacher instructed.

That girl that caught my attention earlier had raised her hand without even looking up. I walked over to my seat, as eyes were still focused on me and Y/N was closing her book, knowing that the lesson was about to start.

~Time skip~

The class had ended and there was a 15-minute break before next the class starts (So much better than class by class and only a lunch break). I took this time to get to know her.

"Um, Y/N right?"

"Ne, what is it?" She turned around.

"I was wondering if you'd give me a tour."

"I'd love to, but I really want to finish this book." She innocently smiled before focusing on her book.

"You know, you're not like the other girls here, trying to get my attention." I leaned close to her ears.

"I don't want to be like someone I'm not." She said without looking at me.

~Lunch~

I walked up the stairs to the rooftop, not having the appetite to eat because she was on my mind for some reason.

Opening the door, I see a petite body gazing someplace as she's leaning against the railing.

"I'm sorry if you felt offended by what I said earlier." I stood beside her.

"You're not the type to feel or say sorry."

My eyes widened from realizing what I did. She's right, I never said it to anyone. Knowing that I would get into trouble at my old school.

"You know, let's get to know each other. I'm Jeon Jungkook." I leaned my hand towards her.

She hesitantly turned and looked at me before shaking my hand. "Lee Y/N."

At that point, we became closer. Having many things in common and laughing together.

I guess this is the first step in making a change that I want. And finding someone special??
