It took Tylor seconds to realize that I was out of the room, I managed to lose him off my tail probably because I hid in a storage room that smelled like borax.

I laid down against the wall and sighed. I'm in a house full of wolf dogs, I have a wolf dog soulmate, my ex boyfriend might be a vampire -I'm still not sure about that one- and my father must be looking for me.

Great.

I closed my eyes and yawned. Maybe if I just rest my eyes for a second then I'll have the energy to escape.

When I woke up it was already dark outside because I could see through the small window on the top. I don't know how I managed to fall asleep with the strong smell of borax. I mean, it didn't even smell that good.

As I got out, I couldn't help but drool over the smell of something baking. Maybe a small peek in the kitchen won't hurt. I made my way downstairs and notices muffins on the kitchen table.

I argued with myself for a while whether I should just go grab one as a snack for the road or just make a run for it and get the hell away from this place. As usual, I was thinking with my stomach and not with my brain.

I grabbed one of the muffins and was about to take a bite when I heard a loud growl behind me. I did, in fact, jump six feet in the air and almost dropped my muffin.

Key word almost.

Thank the lord.

Declan was growling at me again.

"Told you this will work," Tylor appeared behind Declan with a proud look on his face.

"How did you know?" Mavis asked.

"She's always eating food,"

True.

Declan just walked over to me, grabbed my arm and pulled me away. He pulled me to his room and closed the door behind him.

He opened his mouth to say something but closed it as soon as he saw the clean room. He walked in front of his bed, looked around and his eyes landed on me.

"Don't look at me, it was too messy," I said and raised my hands in surrender.

He'll thank me later.

He took a few steps towards me, took a deep breath in and closed his eyes like he was trying to relax and not kill me. And when he opened them, his eyes were a different color, they were golden brown instead of ocean blue.

I never knew werewolf eyes could change color.

"So...can you let me go now so I can leave?" I asked.

"What makes you think I'll let you leave?" he asked and took a step towards me.

"Because I'm not into guys?"

"Well then why did you date your ex boyfriend?" he asked and I froze at the mention of my ex.

"Because ...uhhmm...I-I," My ex was a touchy subject.

"You can't fool me, Bella," He said and rolled his eyes.

"I already fooled you,"

"How?"

"Well for starters, you looked like you believed me when I first told you," I said with a proud grin on my face while he rolled his eyes but I couldn't help but notice the small smile on his lips.

"Where were you anyway?" he asked.

"In the storage room,"

"What were you doing there?" he asked.

"Masturbating,"

Silence.

Did I really just say that? Why on earth would I say such a thing? Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Something is definitely wrong with me.

"Are you dropping hints?" He asked with a smirk as my eyes widened.

"What? No! I-"

"Is this your way of saying you want me in bed? Is that why you cleaned up my room?" I swear my eyes just popped out of my head.

"I-"

"I never knew you want me so bad, you could have just told me,"

"No, I-"

"Imagine all the things I could do to you,"

Have mercy on my ears!

"Sto-"

"I'll tell you what I'll do, at first I'll rip your clothes off then I'l-" Since clearly, he wouldn't stop talking, I shoved my muffin in his mouth and ran out of the room.

What just happened?

DECLAN'S P.O.V

I let my wolf take control for a few minutes because he was dying to talk to her and he decides to waste his time by imagining what it would be like to see Bella naked and all the things he could do to her.

Idiot. Complete idiot.

Now she thinks I'm a pervert. I tell him as I take back the control.

You are a pervert, you were also thinking about her naked the other day, he says and I roll my eyes.

No I wasn't, and plus it's the mate bond, I tell him and walk out to find Bella with the muffin in her mouth.

I wasn't surprised when I found Bella in the kitchen eating the muffins Mavis made to lure her in. I knew she didn't leave the house but something was blocking the smell and I should have known it was the strong borax scent that was in the storage room.

When she saw me, her cheeks turned pink and she immediately turned away so I figured I'd give her time to cool down first so she won't feel uncomfortable when I do talk to her.

As walked out of the room, I decided to go for a run since it's been a while since we last ran. When I shifted into my wolf form, I couldn't help but think about Bella.

There was no way I'm rejecting her.

BUT I made a plan lmao, I have these homework packets that the teachers give earlier and I'll finish them all so I won't have to do it when it's due :>
