Taylor's POV

A feeling of nostalgia fills me, as I stare back at myself in the mirror wearing the long white dress.

Being a bridesmaid to one of my best friends was something I've always dreamed of. It's Martha's wedding, and surprisingly enough she chose white dresses for us to wear.

What she said next after we asked her why though, got us laughing way too hard.

"I'm trying to get you guys to get married already, nobody wants to be married when they're too old and filled with wrinkles, damn it."

That's exactly what she said.

I get out of the small bedroom to the master bedroom where she's having Karlie put the the final touches of makeup on her before she wore her dress. For some reason they old pushed me first to get done with the makeup and hair, and I figured they wanted an experiment rat to see if the result is what we've wanted or not.

Needless to say, the stylist did an amazing job.

"Oh my God, Tay!" Cara is the first to see me as she jumped off the bed in her short robe. "Look at you, Jesus I'm gonna cry and Martha isn't done yet."

I blush but laugh it off. "Go get dressed. We really need to hurry up."

"Who's done already?"

"All of us except you two." Selena said as she stood from the chair where the stylist was doing her hair into the same thick braid with flowers in it and stuff. It's really cliche but it's so beautiful on them all.

"Nope, you're is done." Karlie said, stepping away from her after finishing putting the lipstick on Martha.

Martha nearly turns to look in the mirror but almost all of scream, scaring her to death.

"Don't look yet!"

"Fuck's sake guys, you scared the shit out of me." She flips us off with her finger.

Selena gets Martha's dress from the hung up zip bag. It's something simple, similar to the dress style she chose for us, but of course more glamourous. "Take the robe off." She tells her.

Martha takes it off, standing just in her strapless white bra and matching underwear, while Selena unzipped the side of the dress and helped her wear it.

Cara comes out and she looks so beautiful, and stands beside me when she notices Martha is getting dressed already. We stare in awe at her when Selena fully zipped her.

"I'm about to ruin my makeup," I whisper to Cara.

"Me too." She says back in a shaky voice. "Oh God, no." She fans her face with her hands as she chuckled.

I took a deep breath and approached the girls around the bride. "You look so beautiful, Mar." I tell her and sniffle, holding back my tears.

She looks at me, her face practically glowing, and she smiles even bigger. "Can I see myself now?"

"Get the veil first."

"I'll get it," I say and walk over to the hanger in the corner of the room and carefully lift the lace fabric with both of my hands.

"I'm getting the shoes after I get dressed," I hear Karlie says.

I walk back to Martha where she's now facing the mirror finally, and Selena helps me balancing it right over her styled up hair with its clip. We slowly step back, and look at her in the mirror.

"Aw, you look like a freaking princess!" Selena gushes and squeezes Martha's hand.

"Yeah," Martha grins but it fades away faster than usual. "Jesus, this is really happening."
