He steps in, "So where's ma breakfast? I left without eating!"

I laugh, "In the fridge, I'll heat it up for you. Go sit down or something."

He nods, going over to sit on the couch.

"You're watching The Flash?" He asks.

"Duh, Barry Allen is my bae," I reply with sass.

"You're such a nerd, Neil," He scoffs.

"I think the more politically correct term is geek, but okay," I shrug, putting his sandwich and eggs into the microwave.

"Whatever, you and superheroes are just so tacky," He chuckles.

"Says the boy who owns Batman sheets," I tease.

"T-those are back in Kansas, okay! I don't use them anymore," He stutters with a grin.

"You own a Batman snap back," I retort.

"Yes, well Batman is cool as fuck," He defends.

"The Flash is much better," I argue.

He shakes his head, "No, he is not."

"He's much hotter," I say.

"Batman can be...hot," He awkwardly says.

"Mhm, keep telling yourself that," I laugh.

The microwave dings, meaning it's ready.

"Food's done," I say.

"Nice," Colby rubs his hands together and comes to sit by me. "Damn, looks good," He smiles and takes a bite, "And taste good!"

I blush, "Why thank you."

I watch him eat for some time but then I soon realize that's creepy as hell and I should go finish that episode of the Flash.

"Hey, I'm done. Where do you want me to put my plate?" He politely asks.

"Just leave it by the sink," I reply, slouching further into the couch.

He comes by to sit next to me, "Mind if I join you here?"

"You're already here, doesn't matter now, does it?" I grumble.

He raises his eyebrows and goes on, "Someone's grumpy."

"Well, Barry just fucked up his life, once again," I yell more into the tv. Sometimes I just want to punch Barry so he can stop being stupid or just jump into the show and talk some sense into him.

Iris this, Iris that,

love sucks,

who cares!

But I'm not one to talk.

"Wow, you are really into it," Colby points out like it wasn't obvious enough.

"I'm a fan girl, what can I say?" I chuckle.

"Funny," He chuckles.

We continue watching the rest of the episode together.

Once it ended, Colby says, "Hey," to get my attention.

"Hi."

"I need to repay you," He shyly says.

"What, why?" I question.

"Because you let me stay over and make me breakfast, isn't that obvious?" He grins.

"Yeah, but that's because I'm being courteous," I deadpan.

"Still, let me take you to get doughnuts," He argues.
