"Yeah, okay MAKE WAY, DRAG QUEEN COMING THROUGH," I yell, squeezing by all the bodies.

"C'mon, we'll wait in the car now," Nik says.

Everyone follows out the door when Amanda and Elton come downstairs.

"Hey are we leaving already?" Amanda asks.

"Oh, after brunch we should just leave right away," Elton suggests.

"That's a good idea," Sam agrees.

"Alright, my children back inside and get your things and load the car," Corey commands, shooing everyone back inside.

We all split ways to pack up our things. My bag happened to be in one of the guest bedrooms. I quickly speed up the steps and sprawl my body across the floor to grab all my things. I forgot to brush my teeth too, so I go into the bathroom and realize I still had my full on caked face. I wipe it all off and then quickly brush them to make sure my breath doesn't smell terrible. I always feel so self conscious when I talk to someone or if someone is just up near my mouth... I wonder if Colby notices my breath? Every time we have kissed that is.

It's going to suck to have to talk to him.

As I finish putting the last of my things into my bag, I hear a knock on my door.

I see Colby, leaning against my door-frame.

Oh god, I can already feel my cheeks begin to heat up.

"Hey," He says.

"Hi," I reply, shyly tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

"I see you got your drag queen makeup off," He chuckles.

I grin, "And you got your fake eyelash off." I fold my clothes neatly into my bag as I talk to him.

"Yep, when I took it off, it looked like a fuzzy caterpillar," He smiles.

I giggle, "So interesting."

He stops smiling and goes serious, "So listen, about the past nights."

I shake my head. I did not need to have a little chat as we are about to leave with the rest of our friends. This trip has been fun and I don't want anything more to ruin it.

"No, Colby...please don't speak," I wave him off, "Just, I want you to leave. We're about to go anyway."

He stares me down, "I just wanted to talk."

I mumble, "I don't think this is the time, Colby."

"I don't know, but we have time at least," He argues.

"There's people here, everywhere," I retort.

"Not in this room. Ash, c'mon."

"No, we can talk later...right?"

"You've been acting strange lately. You seem off, what's been up with you?" He asks.

I adjust my collar, "Uh, I'm not acting strange! If anything, you're acting strange!" Such a lie, Ashlyn.

"But you see, I see the way you've been acting... it' weird, Ash," Colby replies, taking a step closer.

"Look, I'm just treating you the way I'd normally treat you," I retort. "Brutally," I shrug.

"I thought we were over that enemy thing," He murmurs.

I whisper, "You know we aren't! We can't act like anything more than rivals."

He starts with frustration, "But Ash-"

"Hey, man! Let's get moving, c'mon," Brennen interrupts, smiling and putting his hands on Colby's shoulders before going down the hall.
