"yeah, right. you? what with the sudden phone call?"

"well, about just now-"

"i got it. you were playing around right, you fool."

"no. jung chaeyeon, listen."

he takes a deep breath before he tries to continue his words.

"i am serious about that. i don't know when did i even like you, but then i realised, your presence itself is giving me happiness."

she cringes silently on the phone.

"so like, i like you, jung chaeyeon."

there's a long pause on the line. he is about to end the phone call until he heard chaeyeon's small sigh.

"uh, i don't even know how do i even start but."

this time she is the one who gonna tell him a longass message while he listening to her.

"i like you too, im youngmin. i like you a lot." she sighs softly.

"it's insane at how long i kept my feeling for you. and finally, like finally. i'm able to tell you about this."

he lets out a small sigh, a relief sigh.

"i'm so glad that the feeling is mutual, jung chaeyeon. you don't know how scared i am to tell you about this."

she emits a soft laugh before she speaks.

"wow, i can't believe the infamous im youngmin is scared to tell about his feeling?"

"oh, shut up, ugly. and quit calling me that, i told you."

he chuckles upon hearing that.

"i like you jung chaeyeon, i really like you. have a nice sleep, m'lady." and with that, he ends the phone call.

she grins widely at her phone screen. "goodnight too, im youngmin."
