"Hold on homes, you taking that a bit overboard. I just got an itch to scratch. I'm not even thinking about her like that. We met when I found out she's part of the reason Poochie lost that seventy-five thousand," I started.
"Damn," he cut me off!
"Yeah, the chick is bad news. Trust me I'm not even remotely interested in any relationships right now, and especially not with her," I told Jovani before getting up and grabbing the keys to my Ferrari out of the top drawer of my end table. I tossed it to him as he stood up and starred at me for a second. "What," I asked stretching? "Nothing, but...it's just that. Do you remember how grandma met papa bear," Jovani asked catching me off guard. "No man, we haven't heard that story since we were young," I shook my head. "Maybe you, but abuela and I were just talking about it," he began leaning in my door frame.
"Abuela said, her mother had just been put out of their home, and she was fifteen at the time. Back in Puerto Rico, she grew up poor, and never knew her father. One day, she saw a boy running down the street, and he looked to be her age. When she saw he was running from a fruit seller, she moved out of the way and continued to watch the chase. Later that day, she saw the boy again, but this time he was sleeping in an alley. She saw an opportunity and stole the fruit, that he'd just stolen. Papa bear, woke up and caught her stealing. From there they went from rivals, to lovers, and then soul mates," Jovani told me as I walked around the room getting an outfit together.
"So what are you saying," I chuckled. "You think I like Ebony because of abuela's story," I joked. "Nah I'm just saying, stranger things have happened," Jovani shrugged before walking out of my room. I on the other hand was stuck with the thought of, what did the story have to do with me? I'd made it completely clear that Ebony would just be a fuck! Nothing else mattered or concerned me right now besides my money and my family being safe. Yet, each thought revolved me right back to her. I think it's because she got mixed up with my money, and seeing her place yesterday, let me know she wasn't struggling for sure. Her place was nice, and I wondered if she was holding out on me. Which is when I came up with an idea. I grabbed Ebony's phone, and called my phone. It rung three times before she answered confused," Hello," she asked?
"Let's meet up so I can get my phone back, if you're not busy," I said getting straight to the point. "I don't have my car," she said, as I heard some ruffling in the background. "I'll pick you up in about an hour, and I'll take you to get your car too," I told her, as a devilish smile crept onto my face. I felt like the Grinch, coming up with this plan. I waited in anticipation for her answer. "Why are you being helpful," she asked me smartly? She was a very smart girl after all, but I was clever. "I figured this way we both get what we want. I get my phone and you get your car. Plus you get to see me," I teased making her kiss her teeth. I could imagine her full pink lips turning up into a scowl. "I'll go for my car, but if something happens to me...," she began. "I have no reason to hurt you, as long as you're paying me my money," I cut her off. "So I'll see you in an hour," I continued? "Yeah, an hour," she agreed before hanging up.
I quickly called an employee of mine, because there was work that needed to be done. "Yo', wassup boss," Boxer answered in his baritone voice. "I need you to be at this address in an hour, and search the place for some money. An estimate of about thirty thousand, might be in the apartment," I began before I let him in on everything I needed done. Call me dirty, but game recognizes game. I'm just trying to see how truthful Ebony's ass really is.
