11. What A Day

Oh hell no, this shit is crazy! What are they doing here, I knew Jyrell and Nikko worked together but I didn't know they were that close. This shit is blowing up in my face, and its all Kollins's fault. I knew I had a bad feeling about Poochie, and now look at the predicament I'm in.

    I quickly walked off the elevator and into Jyrells office, the first door on the third floor. I paced the floor, back and forth wondering what the hell i should do!? Should I tell Kinzy, or are they telling her right now? What if they're explaining shit to Jyrell right now? But then why would Nikko have told Poochie to be quiet? I stopped pacing and sat on the end table in the room. What was Nikko doing, why would he try to keep secrets for me, what was that about? My head snapped up at the sound of the door opening. I bit my lip when I saw Kinzy walk in, because I didn't know what to say. The only way I think I could even explain my behavior is by telling the truth, but then what would she think of me? I just couldn't lose Kinzy, she's my closest friend, and pretty much the only family i've got.

      "Hey, are you okay," Kinzy asked? On her way over to me, I could just see the concern written all on her face. "Kinzy I...," I started but I froze. What if I told her what had happened, and she tells Nikko it's my brothers fault? Kollins would sooner die then pay that money back, but Kinzy would rather put Kollins head on the platter than have mine on it. I couldn't sell out my brother, I couldn't have that on my conscious. "Kennedy I want to tell u something, but you have to promise to not tell anybody," I said looking around the room. "You know I won't," she said walking over to me even more concerned. "Does Jyrell have camera's in here," I asked? After all, if he was working with Nikko, and they were close I just knew he had 24/7 surveillance like Nikko had in that building Poochie had took me to."Yeah, lets talk outside," she said taking my hand and leading me out the office. When I looked back at the table where Jyrell was sitting, Poochie was gone with Marchelle, but Jovani and Jyrell were talking at Nikko, who was seemingly ignoring them. Henrietta was still next to Nikko. 

      At first when I'd seen her I knew whoever she was sitting next to, had to have money. This girl was like a blood hound when it came to ballers, the way she could smell them out and dig her claws into them. Obviously it's true because she found Nikko, and he wasn't even parading around in lots of jewels and diamonds like most of the guys here. I just couldn't believe Nikko could fall for her type. Then again, she was Spanish and she looked like most of the girls in his phone. Just because he didn't know her personality, didn't mean he didn't like the way she looked.

  Nikko and Henrietta stayed on my mind the rest of the way to the car. I almost forgot what we had even come outside for. Until we were standing in front of my Benz, which I'd driven us here in. After all this was my girls surprise party, so imagine her face when we pulled up here, thinking Jyrell had gotten jumped and someone stole Kinzy's car, which Jyrell had taken that morning since he was, again having car troubles. It may not have been the best joke to play when they just got back together, but he'd gotten her here. When she'd started crying I wanted to tell her it was all fake, and when she got here she cursed us both out. I seriously thought my girl was going to have a breakdown, the way she was in that car bawling her eyes out. She can say what she wants, today just showed once again, how much she loves that man. 

       "Okay, so whats up? You've looked stressed, then you come in here and see Nikko and you go blank. What's going on do you two know each other, or something?"
