Forced smiles

Zosia's POV

Dom drove us to Holby. The journey I take every day felt like it was taking forever to get there.
We got there and walked to AAU where we saw Morven walking out.
"Morv, come here" Dom said pulling her into a hug
"He's in bay 2, see you later" she said through the tears.

Me and Dom when in while forcing a smile on our faces.
"Hey guys" Arthur mumbled
"Hey Diggers" I said
"Are you alright?" Dom asked
"Not really" he answered

We sat around him until he fell asleep. He looked so peaceful but all the tubes, wires and needles around him suggested otherwise.
"Bye Arthur" we said and kissed his forehead.
We got back and Dom went straight to bed as he had the early morning shift tomorrow.
I stayed up for a bit with Ollie who has already put the boys to bed.
"Are you ok?" He said quietly
"I think so"
"I love you Zosia March, you know that?"
"I love you too"
"Come on, lets go to bed. Jac won't be happy if she has two tired doctors on her ward."
"True"
We went upstairs and got into bed. I kissed Ollie goodnight and gave him a hug. I went to sleep its his arm still around me and his head was resting on mine.
