What was he doing? He stood over me holding the knife. for the first time in my life I was scared. my body was frozen unable to move. His eyes seeing me in pain slowly turned from anger to sadness. He quickly flipped the knife around stabbing himself.

"No!" I screamed.

"I can't do it." He said. Why did he even try to do it? Tears streamed down my face uncontrollably. "Don't cry." He wiped my tears. I lifted my hand to wipe my face seeing it covered in blood.

"We need to get you to a hospital!" I panicked.

"They won't take a murderer." He was right and even if they did he would be arrested.

"Do you have any first-aid equipment?" I said remembering how my parents tot me first-aid.

"Back in the warehouse." What was I going to do? The warehouse was far away. I looked back at him beads of sweat crossed his forehead. He was losing blood fast.

"Don't move."

"Wasn't planning on it." He said jokingly. I dashed to the warehouse sprinting around trying to find the kit. The first-aid lied in a glass case. I looked around for a hammer or rock there was nothing. Panicking I used my hand to smash it. Glass shards stabbed and scratched me blood spilled out but I didn't care. I needed to save him.

"I'm back!" I yelled. He just turned his head to look at me and smiled. I took off his shirt and got to work despite being a little flustered.

"At this moment aren't you supposed to ask some calming questions?" He asked.

"Okay, then what's your name?" It was the question I had been trying to ask this whole time.

"Xavier." He answered.

"You don't look like an Xavier."

He laughed and said."I guess I don't." I didn't know a murderer could laugh so much.

"There, all done." I looked at him peacefully sleeping then at the sky. It was getting dark. I started to walk away when I felt a hand grip my arm tightly.

"I'll be here tomorrow." Was he inviting me back? I smiled and walked away.

"I'm home."

"Where were you? We thought you died!" Both of my parents looked terrified. How much grief had I caused them?

"I'm sorry, I thought I told you I was going out." I apologized. Even though I remember I said when I was leaving.

My mom ran up and hugged me and said. "It's okay we were just worried because you weren't answering your phone." I pulled my phone out to look at it. Thirty missed calls!

"I'm sorry." I said again.

"Just promise us you won't do it again." I really wanted to promise but I couldn't. What if he was there waiting for me?

I pushed my mom away saying. "I can't." They both turned to stare at me. My dad looked like he was fuming.

"What do you mean you can't?" My dad said holding back his anger.

"I just can't okay I'm already sixteen you can leave me alone." It was the first time I had ever sassed my parents. My mom looked paralyzed while my dad stood there boiling over. I ran up to my room slamming my door like an angry teen. Which I was.

That night my mind was filled with thoughts. Had I fallen in love with a madman? What was I going to do? I fell asleep questioning myself when I woke up I ran out the door to go see him without telling my parents. Grabbed my bike and rode. My strawberry hair flew back revealing a tag on my shirt. My feet started to set fire to the pedals. Finally I saw the warehouse hoping that he would be waiting inside for me.

I couldn't have been more wrong. I ran up to the door seeing. Right behind the door two cops.
