When you're the smallest bird in the nest , you'll realize just one thing.
The other birds boss you around, like you're the servant and their the king.
They'll call you names, judge your actions and look at you differently. Why? Because you're the youngest that's why.
Humming and singing mean things , mentioning your name is songs you don't want to hear. They think it's great satisfy.
Call you "unbright" because you don't know any better than you were raised.
Even one cool amazing thing you do , they will not be amazed.
Reminding you of mistakes you make, unequal quality you're being treated through.
In your mind you want to yell " I'm a soul and living thing just like you."
When you speak up for yourself and tell people you're you for you,
It makes them think you're lying , of course they don't see your point of view.
Wait for that one day little bird, that day will be when you spread your wings wider than they can,
God was just testing you, it was a part of his plan.
Outshine them when they outshines the young beautiful bird you can become,
Those birds turn around and think back apologizing for when they called you dumb.
