I PROMISE (A NaLu Fanfiction)

Prologue

5 Days After The War with Alvarez Empire.

"Master, your sacrifice didn't went in vain. We won. Thank you." Erza said, tears streaming down her face, she was badly injured, there are still bandages around her body and arm, especially her leg is badly injured. But, Jellal was there... supporting her.

I wipe my tears off my eyes, but then another came again. Now! When will they stop.

"C'mon Luce, Gramps will not like it if you keep on crying." Natsu put his shoulders on mine, I succesfully rewrote the book of E.N.D and now? Natsu is safe, his book is under my care.

"Look who's talking, You just stopped crying earlier." I said and chuckled a bit, just like everyone we were all injured, I'm still covered in bandages as well as Natsu. He looked at me, his eyes are puffy red and his eyebags are like saying 'hi' to me.

"What are you grinning at?" He asked forehead creased.

"You looked like a panda with red eyes." I said giggling.

"Whaddya say?!" Natsu shouted, Those who are near us laughed.

"C'mon, let's go now Erza, we have to rest." Jellal supported Erza to walk properly, she still limping. Erza glanced at the grave beside Master's.

Eileen Belserion

I wonder what she felt?

"Natsu..." I looked at him, We are already in my apartment.

"Yeah?" He asked, his head is at the side of my bed, while his body is slumped in the floor.

"Why are you here?" I asked. I raised my eyebrow.

"Sleep over?" He answered absent-mindedly.

"Hey," I said, placing my hands on his shoulders. It seems like he is in a deep thought. It's kinda weird for Natsu, but considering what happened... Of course, he would act this way.

"It's still feel like a bomb to me Luce." He said, I was surprised when he grabbed my hand and rested his cheek there. Good thing, I'm in my bed. His back is on me... because right now, my cheeks are really red! What are you doing you idiot!

"I died 400 years ago, I was resurrected by Zeref in the form of END, Zeref is my older brother... It's too much." He chuckled, then I felt something wet on my hands.

Tears.

I sat beside him and he looked at me, there are some hair strands that almost cover his eyes, without having a second thought, I brush it away. He was looking at me intently. I smiled at him.

"Atleast we know, We can still see tomorrow right?" Natsu's eyes displayed an emotion but before I realized what it is, I was already squashed in his chest.

Oh Natsu...

"Yeah, we can still see tomorrow. We can be together for a long time." He whispered.

I smiled, thinking a second meaning for the last sentence.
