Strings of Fate

When Jimin looks up he sees Jungkook looking at him from across the grounds, with a tinge of jealousy in his eyes. A teasing smile crosses Jimin's face and he has a wicked thought, maybe this year he could use the other alphas' advances to his advantage. He turns, walking away towards the kitchen where his father was probably waiting for him already. He didn't notice the way Jungkook stared at his retreating form.

Jungkook decided he also needed to gift Jimin with something special. He felt some sort of discomfort in the pit of his stomach after seeing him accept the gifts of other alphas. He was breaking his head thinking about a perfect gift, something Jimin would truly cherish. After fuming his head he finally decided what he would give him and just waited for the omega to finish his duties. He kept close to the kitchen, chopping wood even when it wasn't his duty and the moment he saw Jimin stepping out he dropped the ax and followed after him.

"Hey Jimin!"

"Oh Jungkook, hi"

"Care to go on a walk with me?"

Jimin stayed quiet for a while and looked around to make sure his brothers weren't around to interrupt them. Once he was sure he wouldn't be followed or stopped he turned back and nodded. Jungkook grabbed his hand and pulled him into the forest, hand gentle as he tugged him along. Jungkook was still holding on to his hand as they walked through the canopy of trees. Jimin was smiling as he stared at their hands that fit so well together, the alphas large hand enveloped his small one and it felt so warm.

"Where are we going?" Jimin asks curiously, eyes still focus on their hands.

"I have something special to show you." Jungkook looks down at him with an excited glint in his eyes.

"What is it?"

"It's a surprise"

"Will I like this surprise?"

"I'm hoping you love it." Jungkook chuckles.

They continued to walk deeper into the forest, it was a part Jimin hadn't wandered through yet. For some reason he was beginning to feel the excitement in his chest and butterflies filled his stomach when Jungkook laced their fingers together. He tried not to be obvious when he glance at their intertwined hands and then at Jungkook's face. Jimin was sure his face would expose him as he could feel the heat in his cheeks only getting redder. After walking a bit further, Jungkook pulled Jimin forward and stood behind him to cover his eyes.

"What are you doing?" Jimin asks, he wasn't expecting to be surprised this way.

"I told you, it's a surprise."

"Okay." Jimin mumbls slowly, reaching behind him to grab Jungkook's shirt to feel calmer.

Jungkook walked forward with Jimin in front of him and led him into a meadow filled with flowers and a patch of green grass in the middle. He walked him to the middle of it and uncovered his eyes slowly. Jimin adjusted to the view and a wide smile formed on his lips as he saw the large amount of various flowers around him. He had never seen anything like it and there were more flowers than in the other meadow he always went to.

He turned to Jungkook and looked up at him, "How did you find this?"

"I found it earlier today while hunting, I remembered you like flowers so I thought I had to bring you here."

"Thank you. It's so beautiful." Jimin says once more, eyes wandering the waves of flowers.

"You're beautiful." Jungkook mutters and Jimin turns to look back at him with wide eyes full of surprise.

"I saw other alphas offer you gifts and," Jungkook steps forward to put a hand on Jimin's hip, "I thought I should give you my gift too."

"What gift?" Jimin swallowed nervously, he wasn't sure what to expect.

"This," Jungkook whispered as he leaned forward to ghost his lips over Jimin's, "please accept this".

His lips pressed softly against Jimin's, not giving him a chance to even answer him. Jimin stayed still for a while but finally closed his eyes and responded to the kiss. He was a bit hesitant but boldly placed his hands against Jungkook's chest. This was his first kiss, and he was not sure if he was doing it right but it felt right. His omega bristled with joy from sharing his first kiss with Jungkook.

The taller pulled him closer, wrapping his arms around his small waist and deepening the kiss. Their lips were moving delicately, slotting together perfectly in sync. Jungkook ran his tongue over Jimin's lower lip and the omega opened his mouth to allow him to explore his sweet cavern. Jimin had moved closer to circle his arms around Jungkook's neck and he began to play with his light brown locks. He didn't think the kiss would get this deep until Jungkook began kissing down his neck, a hot trail burning his skin. Jimin snapped his eyes open when he realized Jungkook was beginning to scent him. He pulled on the alphas hair and pulled his head away from his neck.

"No scenting, we'll get in trouble." Jimin mumbles dazily.

"Okay, I'm sorry, I got a little taken away." Jungkook presses his forehead against Jimin's, trying to catch his breath and calm his racing heart.

"I accept your gift." Jimin answers suddenly, giggling lightly.

Jungkook leans down again to kiss Jimin softly before pulling away from him.

"It seems like we share the same feelings. Why can't we just mate?" Jungkook asks.

"It doesn't work that way, we have to follow the packs traditions."

"Then I guess I will have to fight hard for you." Jungkook looks at Jimin fondly, almost as if saying fighting for him would be totally worth any obstacle he would have to face.

"You do if you want to win my heart completely."

"Why don't we head back, I don't want your brothers to kill me if we go back too late."

"I think if we go back together you're dead either way." Jimin jokes with a hearty laugh.

"That's so true."

"I don't want to leave just yet." Jimin pouts.

"We can always come back, this can be our secret." Jungkook reaches for Jimin's hand and lifts it up to peck softly.

"Just ours?"

"Just ours."

They walked back hand in hand until they reached the camp. Jungkook looked through the line of trees for anyone who could possibly see them returning together. They smile at each other sweetly before walking through the trees and heading in opposite directions. The two of them had overly happy smiles painting their faces as they walked. Jimin blushed as he remembered the kiss the two of them shared not too long ago and he couldn't help but want to explode with happiness.

That changed when Jimin saw his two brothers standing in front of their house looking at him with fuming anger. He didn't know what he would say, but he knew any scolding would be worth the gift he was given by Jungkook.
