---Shreya's POV---

A few days later

My relatives didn't want me staying at my parent's house because they were worried about me.

I appreciated that, but told them that I wanted to keep the house as a memory. I told them not to sell it.

My cousin agreed with me.

"We will come here for vacations and keep the spirt of the family alive," she said.

I was now back at Atif's house, but I kept myself distanced from him.

He was trying to get me to understand his side of the story but I went through everything in just one day.

He walked in with some food.

"Shreya, you need to eat. You didn't eat yesterday at all," he said.

Why does he even care?

"Shreya, at least talk to me. I'm  not the one who is guilty. I love you!" He said.

Really? That explains why you cheated on me.

"Damn it! If you don't want to talk at least fight with me," he said.

Desperate way of getting me to interact with him.

"I'll leave it here. Please eat something babe," he said.

He was about to kiss my forehead but I backed away.

He got the meaning of it and left.

I ate a little bit of food. I did yesterday as well. I only have a little bit so he thinks that I didn't eat.

I wanted to make him feel guilty for putting me through everything.

---Atif's POV---

Now who the hell is at the door? Can't you see I'm busy trying to get my wife to understand something?

I opened the door and stood there speechless.

My parent's were standing in front of me! Now, is not the time for them!

"Glad your happy to see us," Mom said and walking inside, as dad followed her.

Did I say I was?

"We heard about Shreya's parents and I told her that we should go back," Dad said.

Of course! Dad appreciates having Shreya as his daughter-in-law.

"Thank God! Dad, she won't eat or talk to me. I'm so worried about her, please do something," I said.

"You've turned into a good person," Dad said.

"I love her," I said. "I've been worried sick about her."

"I'll talk to her right now," he said.

He walked into my room and turned to looked at me.

"I told you she won't talk to me," I said.

"Where is she?" He asked.

I motioned to another room and he nodded understanding.

"Stay outside. I'll call you when your needed," he said.

I nodded.

He knocked and she opened the door and froze seeing him.

I made sure she didn't see me. She hugged him and cried so much. It broke me seeing her that upset.

I did like how she managed to have a good relationship with at least one of my parents.

"There there," he said.

"Have you had lunch? I missed your cooking alot! Your mother-in-law can't compare to the food that you made," he said.

She shook her head.

"Have you had anything?" He asked.

She nodded.

Liar! I thought to myself.

"A little bit," she said.

I haven't heard her voice in a week! Thank God she can still speak!

"Come and eat with us. You won't have to cook," he said.

She shook her head.

"I know your going a hard time. I won't force you to eat a lot and nor will your husband. You should have seen him, he's worried sick about you," he said.

She didn't say anything to that.

"Would you like to eat alone?" He asked.

She nodded to that.

Why would ask that? Come on father! You know she would agree to that! Ugh!

"Okay, I'll send your food up to you," he said.

She nodded.

"Now, can you please smile? We've come from so far. I should at least get a smile," he said.

"Atif!" My mom yelled looking for me and I ran from my spot.

Sh*t! Why does she need me now?

"Ya?" I asked.

"Have you decided when your leaving her?" She asked surprising me.

"I'm not. Not only does she need me now, but I love her! I can't believe you could even ask that after everything that she went through. I'm ashamed to call you my mother right now!" I said and left pissed off.

I slammed my door shut breaking a picture frame in my room.

Great, now there's glass everywhere.

I was thankful it was just a picture of us guys from the party.

I got to work on picking up the glass.
