Remember the day I met him?
His eyes that not only looks at me
But stares into my soul,
His glances that gives a hint of love
But also foreshadows pain.
But I took the risk,
Believing we could happen.

Remember the day he made me laugh?
You saw the brightness in my face
And you thought I was like a Sun,
The Sun you've always wanted to pierce the darkness of your life
But could never be caressed by your gentle hands that promises future.

Remember the day he made me cry?
You gave me your handkerchief
That whispers compassion and care,
But he lent me his hands
That offers one more chance,
And once again, I took the risk.

Remember the day when we were alone together?
Your eyes that pledges love,
Not only does it stare into my soul
But there was longing for my creation,
There is a resonance in our existence,
As if we were bound to meet each other.
But I dismiss that feeling.

I still remember when he and I parted ways,
It was you I came running to,
You welcomed me with open arms, and like a summer breeze, your hugs are very warm.
Finally, I felt what's it like to be home.

It might take a long time before I can heal,
But please, wait for me,
And when that time comes,
The night sky will be filled with all the love stories we've been through,
And the stars will tell it to the future generations too.

You thought I was your Sun,
But in reality, you are my saviour.
