"An Unwanted Bond"- Klaus Mikaelson

Everybody that was in the gym couldn't help but gasp when the words that they had seen on (Y/N)'s left arm countless times were muttered by Klaus mouth.
"It's you"the disbelief that was laced in his voice could be easily detected.
"It can't be"the way her whispered words caused his eyes to widen in suprise, confirmed the fact that almost seemed like sci-fi.
The tension that was evident in the room, had become overehelming by the new relevation. Klaus was (Y/N)'s soulmate.
And suddenly the words that she was constantly told that meant hope for the future,now brought dread into her soul.
"I can't deal with this,right now" when those words left his mouth it brought even further surprise to everybody in the room. Stefan moved to protect his older sister when he noticed Klaus suddenly moving towards her,but he didn't stand a chance against the hybrid. Klaus already had his hand gently under her chin,to make her look at him in the eyes.
"You will go home and you won't be able to return here,until you see the moon rising again" when he finished talking, the same words left (Y/N) mouth,her voice sounding mechanical before doing what she was ordered to do even though her whole mind screamed at her to stay there.

She didn't what she dreaded more. The discovery that she was Klaus soulmate or the fact that she had to tell that to her brother Damon.
She winced when another glass that previously contained bourbon,left his hand and landed on the wall.
"Great..."he began speaking when his tantrum ended." This is just great. My brother is now insensitive di-" his rant paused for a second when he noticed (Y/N)'s glare." Oh shut up I can swear when I want to.And my little sister has Mr. Abomination as her soulmate."
"Now what? Will you and Klaus become a pair and live happily ever after as you slaughter Mystic Falls?"
He heard the slap echoing in the room,before he felt the ache on his cheek.
"You think you have it hard?"she questioned her voice cold and collected, signs that Damon recognised as pure rage.
"Do you think that I asked to be his soulmates, to even have those words on me? How do you think that I constantly felt when all of you got to choose the person that you will love, when destiny chose for me? How alienated I believed I was,even by my family?"
She couldn't even breathe when she spoke of feelings that she had concealed, for almost a century. And she could see the guilt that was building up inside Damon, but she was too angry. So she did what she could before she had the chance to do anything foolish. She stormed out of the house, leaving Damon to process what she had confessed to him.
She almost felt like her mind was not in her body,as she walked. She just desired to be alone,so she allowed her feet to lead her where she desired to be. And that place was the forest, a place where she escaped when she wanted to be left alone.
Yet it proved to be an awful idea when she heard the sound of brunches breaking, as they were being stepped on. She swiftly turned to face Klaus that was staring at her in fascination and she wished that she hadn't left her house.
She was tempted to run,but she knew that he would catch up with ease, so she continued to look at him with an uncomfortable feeling settled on her chest.
"So you are my soulmate?" he wondered even though his question was a rhetorical one." Who would have thought,that I would find you after so many centuries."he stepped towards her causing her to move backwards, not too keen on the idea of being closer than she already was to him.
That action made his brows burrow, his dissatisfaction not well concealed. But he paid no mind as he continued talking with a small charismatic smile blooming on his face. "How about we go on a date. I would love to learn more about my soulmate." He suggested, with a tone that could be only described as cocky.
"No" it was her simple response. And that answer angered Klaus but he remained still,not wanting to scare her away.
"No?"he questioned as he moved  forwards once again.
"No I won't go on a date with you" she confirmed,but this time she didn't step backwards. She continue to stare at him as confidently as she could.
"Now, darling why wouldn't give a chance to me?"he asked with the same cocky tone."Aren't mates supposed to be loving with each other?"
"Geez let me think why I would refuse going out with you"only a stupid person could not detect her sarcasm." Is it because of what you did to Stefan or because you basically threatened all of my friends?"
He continued to near her and even though she was itching to get away,she managed not to move. By the time he finished walking their chests were almost touching. And she wasn't sure if the shiver was caused by the chilliness, her hate or the bond that they shared.
"You really despise me,don't you"he muttered almost as if he was talking to himself.
"Yes" she declared and even though she should feel confident about that answer, she couldn't help but be a little hesitant.
He almost seemed wounded by that answer but he smiled gently at her unlike the other smiles that were full of confidence.
"You know, when they told me the importance of the words that were on my left hand, I thanked every god and godness in existence for giving me a person that I would love and would love me be back"
Out of all the things that Klaus could have said this surprised her the most. And it finally dawned on her that something that she thought was like a prison, it could be liberating for another.
"You know no matter how foolish it seems to you, a small part of me remained hopeful that I would find you." He continued with his gentle smile remaining on his face, perhaps wondering why he confessed those things,despite practically being strangers.
"So you should know that I am quite patient when I want,love" she could almost feel her cheeks warming up as she mentally cursed her body for reacting at his nickname for her.
His smile had become once again, one that overflowed with confidence laced with a bit of determination.
"And I am not going to just give up, now that I found you."he concluded as his lips landed on her warm cheek,before she could react.
And she was left alone as she previously desired, wondering how much more messed up her life could get.
