My book is about a girl called Arielle Cole who met a military soldier and his friend in a Brooklyn bar. The story was really hard to write for me as I grew very attached to all my characters towards the end and it was tricky to tackle a real life scenario in a way that could be relatable but fictional. I based this book on quite a few movies I had watched and I think you'll know which ones if you look closely! Jaxon and Zac are both fantastic characters and definitely show the hardships of working away from home, in a different country with the consistent fear of death and so much more. I did plenty of research from first and second hand sources in order to gather information about the military but please excuse any information that is outdated or inaccurate.
I have nothing but respect for every soldier who fights or fought for their country and this book is purely just for fictional purposes. No offence is intended to any person.
