「 9 : Best Day Ever! 」

Team TAGG sits with Team RWBY on their table and Team KNGT sits on a table far from them, hanging with their other friends from their year. More people from different kingdoms have already come to Vale and it was an exciting time for everyone.

Blake was looking at her notebook with a blank face, pausing on something on the page. Yang bumped shoulders with her, which surprised Blake a bit. "Whatcha doing?" Yang asks, while Weiss peeked at the "notes". "Nothing, just going over notes from last semester." Blake says nervously, quickly shutting the notebook. Suddenly, food came Yang's way and she easily caught it in her mouth. [Name] sat across Blake and her teammates sat beside her, no one sat across Yang on their table, though. She looked scarily focused. "Lame!" She exclaimed, chewing the piece of food with a carefree smile. When they turned, they could see Nora readying her spoon to slingshot food to Yang. Yang got another bite and flashed Nora a thumbs up for her great skills.

There was a thud and a large planner in a binder thing appeared on the table, Ruby being the one who placed it. [Name] peeked at it and read the front cover. "Vital Festival Activities, Weiss Schnee" was crossed out and the words were replaced with "Best Day Ever Activities!" in big red ink. Ruby cleared her throat. For a tiny girl, she was really strong. It was admirable. "Sisters!" She gestured to her team, "Friends!" She gestured to Team JNPR and Team TAGG. "Weiss.." She says with a smirk, gesturing to Weiss, who let out a sound of protest.

"Four score and seven minutes ago, I had a dream." Ruby says with a proud smile, acting as if she were giving an inspirational speech. Yang was still being thrown food by Nora. "A dream that one day, the four of us would come together as a team, and have the most fun anyone has ever had.. ever!" Ruby exclaimed, Weiss finally noticing that it was her binder. "I am not a crook." Ruby said, and Blake looked at her with a raised brow. "What are you talking about?" Ruby pointed at her still with that proud smile on her face. "I'm talking about kicking off the semester with a bang!" [Name] could already feel Yang's pun.

"I always kick my semesters off with a Yang! Ehh?! Guys? Am I right?" She looked around, Weiss looking done with life and Ruby looking at something flying. [Name] was supposed to reach out for it, still hungry, but it had already hit Yang. It made her mad and Nora booed her. [Name] giggles and took the red apple, handing Yang a green apple to throw back. "Look guys, it's been a good two weeks, and between more exchange students arriving and the tournament at the end of the year, our second semester is going to be great! But.. classes start back up tomorrow. Which is why I've taken the time to schedule a series of wonderful events for us today!" Ruby says happily, her face making Tricksi let out a little sound of admiration. Ruby really was too cute.

"I don't know whether to be proud or scared of what you have in store." Weiss said as Yang got up and threw the green apple at Nora. [Name] looked at them with excitement, seeing Nora get up and Yang look so panicked, Weiss getting up to give some sort of speech as well. She was cut off by something being thrown in her face. Was that pie? Tricksi swiped some and tasted it, nodding as if she read [Name]'s mind. It was pie.

After that, it got quite hectic. Not only had all the Teams joined in, but the whole cafeteria joined in. It was Recks who had the right mind to leave, looking tired. He was not going to join in whatever was going to happen. He came across Sun and waves with a sigh, waving at Sun's friend as well, leaving with a dejected expression and ruined hair. Sun was confused, he didn't even get to introduce them yet.

"Food Fight!" Someone had yelled and people ran out of the cafeteria, knowing that it was no longer their fight. Nora laughed loudly, "I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!" Behind them, there was a struggling Tricksi and Laxerus who were captured as "hostages", getting tied up by sausage strings. How sad. They kept bickering, though. The cafeteria was a mess, just like the weird friendship they had.

Ruby was holding milk, and she had stomped her foot down on one of the tables, the impact making the silverware and food around her fly. Ruby held out her pointing finger, "Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful!" Ruby crushed her milk box, lifting it up in the air. "It will be delicious!" The rest of Team Ruby and [Name], who was there to save her teammates, yelled in agreement. Nora jumped down from where she was, "Off with their heads!" Ren started running, jumping in a destroyed table to catapult the watermelons, kicking them into the air. Jaune did a backflip and threw a watermelon into the air. Pyrrha threw two into the air. Nora flipped a table full of watermelons, shooting them into the air as well.

Yang stuck her hands into the Turkey, slamming them together, punching the watermelon which came her way. [Name] had dodged whatever watermelons Yang didn't hit, running on the tables to get to their enemy's base quicker. Blake jumped over Yang and got two loaves of hard bread, breaking the watermelons to cover for Yang. They worked together and Yang shot off the two Turkeys, both hitting Jaune as Pyrrha dodged to grab hard bread of her own. "It's a one v one, Blake versus Pyrrha with their.. hard breads! They parried and stared at each other in determination!" [Name] narrated playfully as she ran past them, heading into enemy base to save her teammates. She easily fought off Jaune, Ren and Nora distracted by the others who were advancing.

[Name] finally reached them, her smile bright as she began untying them. It was kind of pretty hard. She paused. There was a loud scream and [Name] gasps, turning and noticing Weiss in Ruby's arms, limp. [Name] saw that it was Ruby screaming. "Oh god, another 1 v 1, Yang versus Ren! Yang kicks Ren's weapon, only now giving him great access to look at Yang's panties?!" Jaune, who was pretending to be unconscious on the ground, looked at [Name] with a weirded out expression. Nora was giving [Name] a creepy smile, approaching her, but she saw Ren being slammed into the ground which made her curse and run after Yang. Yang flew out of the roof from Nora's hit.

"Focus, [Name]! I don't want to be stuck with this annoying Faunus ever again!" Tricksi whines, struggling against the binds. But, [Name] really didn't focus. She stared at the battle in awe, seeing Team RWBY getting slowly defeated. Suddenly, Ruby was flying into the pile of cafeteria tables and food. [Name] understood what Ruby was going to do, quickly using her teeth to break the hotdog string binds. It worked and she quickly brought her teammates to their feet, "Guys, we have to go, quickly—"

But it was too late, as everyone got up, they were all caught in the mix of things. Ruby brought all the food into her run, the air around her quick. The impact stopped as she got to the wall, breaking it and resulting in everyone getting caught in the foodnado, getting pressed into the wall. They all slid off  together, falling onto the ground with a disgusting sound.

Professor Goodwitch came into the cafeteria with angry eyes, beginning to fix everything up once again. "Children, please. Do not play with your food." She says with furrowed brows, Nora burping and Yang falling from the roof. [Name] cleaned herself up, her teammates following after her. They all laughed, looking at each other and teasing each other. Yang flashed a thumbs up towards Professor Ozpin and they laughed more.

They were acting like children.

Children who didn't know what was going to happen in the future.
