「 1 : Beacon And Its Weird Kids 」

Ruby, Jaune, and [Name] walk into the assembly, looking around at the many students gathered.

"Ruby! Over here! I saved you a spot!" The three of them turn to look at the one speaking. Yang, the girl [Name] somewhat met on the ship, waves happily. Ruby looks at [Name] and Jaune, "Hey, I gotta go! I'll see you after the ceremony!" Ruby dashes to her sister's side, Jaune reaching out to her retreating form with a troubled expression. "Hey, wait!" [Name] waves, even if Ruby wouldn't see. Jaune sighs, "Great. Where am I supposed to find another nice, quirky girl to talk to?" [Name] glares at him, pouting and crossing her arms as she walks with him. "Did you forget about me?" Jaune laughs nervously, getting a little scared.

They see where Ruby went off to and are about to head over when they hear that Weiss girl speak. "Yeah, and we can paint our nails, try on clothes, and talk about cute boys, like tall, blonde and scraggly over there." She points a thumb to Jaune, making him a little surprised. [Name] laughs as Jaune runs his hand through his hair, smiling. "I knew ladies would love me." Weiss clearly showed her sarcasm, but Jaune wouldn't hear it. [Name] shakes her head and decides to ignore him to think.

[Name] looks at Ruby, Yang, and Weiss, snuggling closer to her scarf made out of fake Beowulf fur. She began to think about her twin brother, sighing sadly.

"With those awesome skills and that weapon, I'm sure you'll be with me in beacon with me in no time! You should wait a bit more, maybe they'll pick you!" [Name]'s twin brother, Kaunadas Arfeardell, says cheerily. "We're twins, Kaun, yet you're going ahead of me!" [Name] yells, clenching her fists.

"[Name], I--" Kaunadas starts but was cut off by his twin. "No! I... I hate you! We were supposed to do this together! We worked so hard to get to where we are! And you-you just go ahead of me! You leave me here with nothing!" [Name] screams, running into her room.

After that, he left to Beacon without even saying goodbye to her.

She knew it was such a childish reason and she's always wanted to apologize, knowing she could take care of herself and should've just supported him, but they were both melodramatic sometimes—

Her thoughts were cut off by someone running past her, making her fall onto the floor. "A-Ah, ow..."

"Whoops, sorry!" [Name] looks up to see a boy about her age, maybe older. He had light brown hair that had light green streaks on them, friendly light purple eyes, tannish skin, a small smile, and was wearing casual clothes. He also had a large whip hanging from his belt, and if you looked closely, you would see small sparks of electricity coming from the somewhat-normal-looking whip. The boy rolls his eyes and forcefully pulls her up. "Sorry, my nameless queen, but you sadly can't stare at me forever." He says smugly, holding [Name]'s shoulders to make sure she wouldn't fall.

"I'm Recks Greene." Recks says smoothly, his hands going to his pockets. "Hi, I'm [Name] Arfeardell." [Name] says shyly, playing with her fingers.

Suddenly, a girl who looks exactly like Recks, except she had light purple streaks, a short ponytail, light green eyes, a frown on her face, a jacket, and two huge somewhat-normal-looking swords on her back, appears behind Recks. "Hello, I'm Tricksi Greene." Tricksi says in a monotone tone, clinging onto her brother's arm. "She's, uh, my twin." He says nervously, glaring daggers at Tricksi. Maybe he was running from her. "She's the evil one." He hisses, trying to pull his arm away. It looked like she had a death grip.

[Name] lets out a small laugh, holding out her hand for Tricksi to shake. "I'm the evil twin too." She says evily, making Tricksi grin and shake her hand. "Girls are always evil." The two girls laugh menacingly, earning weird looks from other people around.

"People are beginning to look at us weirdly, please stop." Recks complains, hiding his face in his hands. His personality which [Name] thought was confident and flirty had disappeared. He just seemed more like a mom now. "Bwahahaha! As if you girls could beat my evilness!" A new voice says, a guy.

[Name] and Tricksi glare at the new guy, holding each other dramatically. The boy had messy silver hair, intimidating red eyes, pale skin, a bushy tail swinging back and forth, a fang sticking out of his mouth, a beautifully designed axe on his waist, and was wearing a white suit & tie. Weird thing to wear for a weird guy like him. "I'm Laxerus Tommoise, Lax or Laxer for short!" Laxerus says smugly, running a hand through his hair.

"I'm the great and powerful.. TRICKSI GREENE!" Tricksi screams, posing weirdly. //anyone who got that reference, hey there! :D// "Well, I'm the nice and normal [Name] Arfeardell." [Name] says boringly, waving. Then she repeated Laxerus' name in her head and started to laugh. "Laxerus Tommoise? As in, Tomboys and Tom Mouse?" Tricksi and [Name] laugh loudly, hi-fiving each other. It was lame, so no one around them understood why they laughed so proudly. No one also understood why Laxerus found that such a huge attack to him either.

But before Laxerus could protest, the assembly had finally started.

The mic rings for a bit as Professor Ozpin clears his throat. "I'll keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge. To hone your craft and acquire new skills. And when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people.. But I look amongst you and all I see is wasted energy in need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step." Professor Ozpin walks away from the mic and Professor Goodwitch takes his place. "You will gather in the ballroom tonight. Tomorrow your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed!"

After all that was done, Laxerus, Tricksi, and [Name] continued to argue. Recks just pretended he didn't know them.

After a few minutes, Recks was pissed off. "Can we just go already?! I'm tired and everyone else is already leaving!" Recks complains, huffing and crossing his arms. He didn't sound like a mom anymore, more like the mom's really annoying kid. "Hmm, Recksy-poo is right guys." Tricksi and [Name] nod. "Oh, who's this?" Laxerus asks, suddenly behind Recks. "I'm Recks Greene, twin brother of that idiot, Tricksi." Recks sighs and walks away, leaving the three.

"Recksy-poo, wa~it!"

What? I can't memorize or make up Professor Oz and Goodwitch's announcement/speech.
I can't rewatch it all over again~
I clearly suck.
I'll also draw what Recks, Tricksi, and Laxerus may look like in the next chapter~
