it's april fools day and you know exactly how you're going to prank your boyfriend. the fans helped you on twitter, making the hashtag number one. you told Grayson your plan and he agreed to film it. you had just finished smearing your makeup when Grayson texts you, saying that he was ready. you smile and grab your phone, driving to their house.
when you walk in, you see Grayson holding a holding a camera. he smiles and motioning to the stairs. you walk up the stairs and stand in front of Ethan's door, taking a deep breath, before opening it. you put a frown on your face and start crying.
"Ethan" you cry shaking his sleeping body
he groans and rolls over
"Ethan" you say loudly, shaking him again
he slowly opens his eyes and looks at you, instantly becoming alert.
"what happened? why are you crying?" he asks worried
"you know why" you cry out
he tries to hug you in a form of comfort, but you push him away
"don't touch me" you mumble
"i don't know what i did" he says confused
"check twitter, it's everywhere" you say handing him his phone
you watch him as he scrolls through twitter. his eyes widening.
"i never cheated on you" he says
you roll your eyes "whatever you say"
"i'm serious y/n i didn't cheat. i would never cheat on you" his voice quivers
you snap your head up and look at him. he has tears in his eyes and he looks like he will break down into sobs at any moment.
you feel bad and hug him. he hugs back, hesitantly.
you take his head in your hands and look into his eyes.
"it was a joke baby. april fools" you say with a smile on your lips
he smiles and smashes his lips onto yours. you and Ethan make out a little until Grayson screams "alright that's enough"
you laugh "sorry Gray"
"wait, you were in on it?" Ethan asks
"yep. i was the camera man" Grayson says proudly, puffing out his chest
you laugh again and almost fall off the bed. Ethan catches you and brings you closer to him.
"i'll get you back" he whispers in your ear
