Lucas did stick to his word it's been a week and all we've done is exercise. Urgh. I want to kill him right now.
Monday
Beep. Beep. Beep.
FML.
"Krystal!" I hear Steph call as she walks into our room with wet hair dripping down her back.
"Yes"
"I'll cut straight to the chase. It's been a week and I haven't told anyone about your boyfriend so will you tell me who it is now?" She asks eagerly.
"We said two weeks I'm afraid." I say, knowing she was going to try and trick me. Sorry Steph but I'm very perceptive.
I'm actually extremely surprised she's made it this long. I thought she'd barely last a day. She needs to tell someone soon, otherwise I'm going to need to make up a fake boyfriend and if she ever found that out I'd never hear the end of it.
"Did we? I'm sure it was one." She replies, her acting is pretty terrible, I can see straight through her fake shock from a mile away. Maybe it's because I've known her for ages but she can't trick me, I know her too well. Or perhaps I'm just good at reading people, it's probably a bit of both.

Thursday.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
All the days are starting to merge together. It's an endless pattern. School, homework, train, repeat. I'm getting pretty sick of it not going to lie but oh well.
8:15am-school
"Hey Lucas, hey Tyler!" I call from across the corridor.
"Hi Krystal, Hi Steph! They both reply in unison.
We walk up to them and pointless discussions start to brew.
After a few minutes of group conversation Tyler walks up to me and starts talking directly to me, something he doesn't do often but not so little it's weird.
He's a good conversationalist and after a little bit of meaningless chatter he raises his brow at me.
He looks serious but casual at the same time. Maybe there was a reason he wanted to talk solely to me. What could be troubling him?
"So I hear you got a boyfriend" he says, curiously, only loud enough for me, Steph and Lucas to hear. That's what he wanted to talk about. God, I thought it was something important, he worried me for nothing.
Wait. This means Steph lost the bet.
Phew, she was putting me on edge waiting, a part of me was starting to think she won but luckily, as I predicted, I'm the triumphant one.
"Where did you hear that?" I ask, knowing the answer.
"Stepha-" he breaks off when his gaze meets Stephanie's.
I knew she couldn't last, thank god. Oh I'm so good. Now I won't have to tell her anything. Luna you're a genius.
"I knew you couldn't do it" I say turning to Steph.
She blushes but calms herself quickly. "I guess you were right but please tell me who it is." She pleads.
"Nope" I say, popping the 'p'.
"You're horrible"
"I know I am and you love me for it" I say jokingly. I love teasing her, it's so funny.
Ring. Ring. Ring.
"That's the bell. We've got five minutes, better get to class." I say, briskly, changing the subject before Stephanie can get too worked up at my teasing.
Lucas walks with me as we both have chemistry together first period.
"So you have a boyfriend." He asks casually.
"Nope" I say popping the 'p', amusement apparent in my tone.
He raises his eyebrows urging me to continue my explanation.
"Well..." I explain the story to him and he sighs and nods when I finish.
"Were you jealous" I ask, joking.
He laughs. "Nope" he says popping the 'p', imitating me perfectly. "Just curious is all"
"Alright" I say raising a single eyebrow as I do.
We walk into class right before Dr.Phillips. No more time for chitchat.
