"I am sorry Akka" Mihika felt guilty.

"I don't need your sorry Mihika. J just need some space, I need some privacy. I want to be alone for sometime. Please if you really care, then do that for me" she folded her hands in front of Mihika.

With a heavy heart, Mihika agreed to Ishita's request and left her alone. Ishita locked the door after Mihika left and collapsed on the floor breaking down.

---------

It had been hours since Ishita had asked for space. The sun had risen in its full glory brightening the world. Here, Mihika sat at the dining table with her eyes on the door, waiting for Ishita to open it.

Spending hours in the same position, thinking and rethinking if she should knock at her door, worrying and comforting herself for the n'th time, Mihika finally stood up and measured her steps to the door determinedly and knocked at it. As expected, she saw no response coming. After waiting for a few more minutes, she knocked back and softly called out to her sister this time wanting to get a response from her desperately. When she saw no response coming, her knocks got louder, so did her call.

Here, Ishita did not respond, while on the other side, Ruhi woke up startled due to the loud noises and began to cry petrified. Scared and confused, Mihika ran to Ruhi, picked her in her arms and rushed to the Bhalla house for help. She impatiently rang the door bell and when Mrs.Bhalla opened the door, she handed Ruhi to her and marched towards Raman's room screaming his name.

Raman, who was dressing himself up for the office, rushed to Mihika hearing her screams. "Akka darwaza nahi khol rahi" she cried telling him the reason for her worry.

Without wasting a moment, he strode to Mihika's apartment and knocked at Ishita's door calling out her name but to no avail. The Bhallas had followed him along.

"Koi fayda nahi hai Jiju. Mai kab se Akka ko awaaz de rahi hun. Woh jawab hi nahi de rahi" Mihika informed.

"Raman darwaza tod" said Mr.Bhalla. He, along with Raman, pushed the door with all might and broke the door open.

Finding Ishita lying on the bed lifelessly, they all ran to her side. Raman reached her first and pulled her into his lap, checking her pulse and heartbeat. Her pulse seemed to have dropped down, her skin gone pale, her dress was drenched in sweat which clearly told him that she had a panic attack.

"Papa gaadi nikaliye jaldi" Raman screamed as he scooped her in his arms and rushed towards the elevator.

"Ishita please don't leave me" he begged  with fear as he held her close to his heart in the backseat of the car while Mr.Bhalla drove them towards the hospital.

--------

The strong smell of the medicines, the sharp piercing of the needle on the back of her palm, the faint sound of the machines around made her realise that she was on the hospital bed.

She held her head trying to remember how she reached here. She looked around, blinking her eyes taking in the surroundings and found Mihika perched on a stool at the foot of her bed.

"Mihku" she whispered in a hoarse voice.

Mihika's ears were sharp enough to hear her whisper and she immediately walked closer to Ishita.

"Mihku" Ishita called again and Mihika's happiness knew no bounds. She had craved to hear her sister calling her 'Mihku'. She cried the tears of joy and leaned to hug her sister as she lied on the bed.

Ishita wrapped her free arm around Mihika. Mihika lied in her sister's embrace to her heart's content and then kissed her hands affectionately like she had found her treasure back.

Ishita smiled at her and asked "Tu yahan kaise aayi Mihika?"

"Kaise aayi matlab?" Mihika asked confused.

"Tu toh Chennai me thi na. Tujhe mera pata kisne diya?" Ishita asked.

"Chennai? Mai toh aapke sath hi thi, Delhi me" Mihika replied.

"Delhi? Par mai toh....." Ishita left her sentence incomplete as she remembered something and ran her hand over her belly. Her eyes went wide as she screamed "Mera bachha!!!"
