Flashback continues

"Wow...what a scene! What a scene!" Echoed a sarcastic remark in Ishita's cabin followed by applause 👏👏👏 that definetely were not in appreciation.

That's when Ishita and Raman realised the position they were in and quickly untangled themselves.

"Arey ruk kyun gaye? You continue. Mai jo yahan unwanted or rather unwelcomed hoon toh mai hi chala jaata hoon" said Subbu and began to trace his steps back.

"Subbu wait! Jaisa tum soch rahe ho waisa nahi hai" Ishita rushed to his side.

'Subbu!? Oh no!' Thought Raman. Once again he had unintentionally created a misunderstanding between Ishita and Subbu.

"Achha? Toh phir kaisa hai?" He asked folding his arms across his chest.

"Actually mai carton nikal rahi thi, tab knock hua. Mujhe laga ke tum ho aur maine...." Ishita began narrating but Subbu didn't let her complete.

"Oh I see! Tumhe laga ke mai hoon aur tum is admi ko, if I am not mistaken, wahi hai jisne kuch mahine pehle tumhe poori duniya ke saamne propose kiya tha, kiss karne lag gayi. Kya Ishita? Koi aur achha bahana dhoond leti" Subbu laughed sarcastically commenting at her.

"Trust me Subbu....." Ishita was at the verge of crying.

"Seriously? Trust you in this matter? Par kaise Ishita? Mai tumhara hath bhi pakadta hoon..." he said taking her hand in his, which she jerked out of his hold in reflex "dekha....jab bhi tumhara hath pakadta hoon toh tum aise peeche hat jaati ho jaise ke mai koi achooth hoon. Aur tum keh rahi ho ke mai ye maan loon ke tum is admi ko mai samajhkar kiss karne chali thi?" He sneered.

Raman who had kept mum until now decided to break his silence. The last time Ishita had to bear all of Subbu's allegations alone as he wasn't there to defend her. But this time he wouldn't let this happen. It was because of him that they were having a misunderstanding and it was his duty to clear it out.

"Aap galat samajh rahe hain. Yahan aisa kuch nahi ho raha tha jaisa aap assume kar rahe hain. Mai sirf Ishita ki help kar raha tha carton nikalne me, aur phir carton hamare hath se phisal gayi, Ishita gir rahi thi toh mai bas use sambhal raha tha" Raman narrated.

"Gir toh chuki hai woh already. Ab sambhalne ka kya fayda" Subbu didn't give up being mean.

Raman could not tolerate a word against Ishita. Adding to it, he heard Ishita sniff and saw her wipe her tears away. Raman clenched his fist in an attempt to control his anger.

"Dekhiye! Aap bina baat ke Ishita par ilzaam laga rahe hain. Ishita ne aisa kuch nahi kiya hai jiski wajah se use sharminda hona pade ya aisi waisi baatein sunna pade. Agar kisi ki galti hai toh woh sirf meri hai. Pichli baar maine bina Ishita ki mann ki baat jaane sabke saamne use propose kiya, jo ki usne agle hi pal reject kar diya because she was engaged to you.
