Chapter 19: Welcome home Russ and Jade!

[RUSSELL'S POV]
*July 2, 2024*

"Baby, it's time to wake up!" I hear Jade whisper softly.

I opened my eyes and she immediately kissed me on my forehead.

"Happy Anniversary Baby!" I said and pulled her into a hug. Then she pulled out of the hug.

Our eyes met and the next thing I know is that we're kissing.

Then someone opened the door and we immediately fixed ourselves.

"Good morning Russ and Jade! Excited to go back home?" Mom asked.

"Very excited na po Tita Linda." Jade answered.

"You guys get ready na, your flight is at 9 pm but we need to get to the airport by 5 pm or something." Mom said while she was going out of the door.

"Mom said to get ready na daw!" I said playfully.

"Weirdo!! Ano ba! Let's get ready na!" Jade said.

"Ok fine!!" I answered back.

She went to the bathroom first. While she's taking a bath, I'm fixing our bed. Yes, she never slept in the room that she was supposed to sleep in, for 3 tears she slept on my room. And that's part of our routine.

When she got out of the bathroom, I go inside and start taking a bath. While I'm inside, she puts out the clothes I'm going to wear for the day.

I got out of thebathroom and she was not there. Saan kaya yon pumunta?

"Baby, where are you?" I ask myself.

Someone suddenly hugged me from behind.

"Hi!" Jade said.

"Baby, you scared the hell out of me!" I said.

"Sorry, its because you always do it to me. Payback time!" She said.

I hugged her back and kissed the top of her head.

[JADE'S POV]
*3:00 pm*

"Russell! Jade! Come down na!! We're leaving!!" Tita Linda shouted.

Me and Russell were in the middle of a make-out session!!

"Come down na sabi ni mommy mo!" I said.

We both stood up and he held my hand.

"Say goodbye to our room, temporarily." Russell said with a wink.

"Ano ba kayo? Baba na nga sabi ni Mom!!" Sabi ni Kuya Ralph.

"Kuya!! You're ruining the moment!" Russell shouted at him.

I felt him kiss my cheek. Then bumaba na kami.

"Aba! Hanggang sa pagbaba sa hagdanan holding hands!" Biro ni Tito Reggie.

Agad namula kaming dalawa ni Russell.

After 30 mins.

Nakarating na kami sa airport dito sa Stokie. Kami lang ni Russell ang uuwi ng Pinas.

"Bye Mom, Dad and Kuya!" Russell said while wiping away his invisible tear.

"Bye Tita, Tito and Kuya Ralph! Thank you for letting me stay sa home niyo po habang nandito po ako sa Chicago!" Sabi ko while hugging the three of them.

"It's ok Jade! But make sure you take care of my baby brother!" Sabi ni Kuya Ralph.

We both laughed and we left them waving.

He held my hand and said,

"Baby, are you ready for another adventure?" He ask.

"Of course!! As long as that I'm with you." I said.

Then we checked in and went to our gate.

Until there he was holding my hand.

*8:50 pm*

Flight 701023 to Manila is now boarding. Please proceed to gate number 12. Thank you.

We got to plane and as we sat down I immediately fell asleep!!!

[RUSSELL'S POV]

We got in the plane already and as soon as we sat down, Jade already fell asleep!!

As soon as we took off, I also drifted away to sleep.

I woke up to someone blowing my hair.

I opened my eyes and I saw Jade smiling at me.

"Babe, kanina ka pa ba gising?" I ask. I know, fluent Tagalog!!

"Not really. I just woke up and kukulitin kita sana kaso, nagising ka na eh." She said and I gave her a peck in the lips.

I was checking my phone and I was on Instagram when I saw Jade's post.

My baby Russ is fast asleep!! Goodbye Chicago and Hello Manila!!

Then I turned to her and I gave her a smirk.

"Baby, why did you post a picture of me sleeping?" I ask.

"Wala lang. Ang cute mo kasing tingnan." She said.

I couldn't help myself!! Nakakagigil siya!!!

*After 5 more hours*

As we stepped of the plane me and Jade immediately removed our sweaters.

"Babe, hindi ko na sanay yung init dito!" She said.

"Me too!! Ang init grabe!!" I said.

We got our luggage and started to find Janine, Jade's younger sister. We will be staying with her until me and Jade had found our own place.

"Janine!" I heard Jade shout.

Janine and Jade were really close and she was the first to know my true feelings for Jade.

"Janine! Wazzup?" I ask.

"Still the the same!" She said.

"Janine! Ang laki mo na!" Jade said.

"Hindi naman ate! Ano ba? Let's go?" She said.

And I forgot to tell you, it's 5:00 am and I'm freaking tired! 😴😴
