Do you think you are free?
Do you think the whole world is?
If yes, sorry, I have to disagree
It's almost ideal. Possible? Yes.
Sadly, the world is not free
But it could be, if all would see
That the chain that binds the earth
Is the society that we brought forth.
Yes. Society, there is no other
Labeling, mistreating, judging
How long can we hold further?
On this matter so alarming.
We are defined, we are called
Even before we learned how to crawl
A path already set, rules on how to live
Sickening! I too can't believe.
Because of these, we deprive the world
Of happiness, confidence and will
For these limitations are so absurd
They create wounds that're hard to heal.
Oh how I wish the world to be truly free
Peoples no longer held by boundaries
Free to choose whoever to love
Who they want to be, free like a dove!
Enough with prejudice, enough with "fitting in"
Don't you see the children are crying?
They can't fit in for they are who they are
Forcing them to is going too far.
Let them be, let them live
Let them choose their life.
Now you know, now you see
Then I'll ask you, free... are we?
