Shen put both her hands down on her command console. "You want me to do WHAT?"

"A Psi-Chamber. Build one."

"That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard! What a waste of resources! With everything we have going on around here, you want me to take an engineer and send him down to muck around in people's heads?"

"Exactly!"

"Again, that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!"

"I'm not sure exactly what's so difficult about this. All I need is the Psi-chamber built."

Gill had been sitting in the back of the Engineering bay. Her pet "Kitty" had a collar on, and was looking over to Shen with a "Help Me" look. At the mention of the job, Gill perked up. "A Pie chamber? Is that like a chamber that makes pies? I LIKE pies! CMON Kitty! Let's go build a Pie chamber!" She grabbed the leash and dragged the poor engineer out of the room. As they disappeared around the corner, they heard, "Now Kitty, don't be difficult. I wouldn't want to get the water bottle out again!"

The Commander looked over to Shen. "See? That's all I wanted! A Psi-chamber!"

Oh, and send your other engineer to start clearing out the area below that as well. We're going to need to start on the Shadow Chamber.

"The WHAT?!?"

"Oh, come on... aren't you keeping up? The SHADOW chamber. You know, the feedback we got from... oh, never mind. Oh, by the way, how are the grenades progressing?"

"Grenades?"

"Yeah, plasma grenades. Doc said something about the Mutons allowing us to build plasma grenades."

"Oh...those..."

"Yeah...those. What about 'those'."

"They're on the line..."

"Dang it Shen, what do we pay you for? Get to work!"

"You don't PAY me anything!"

"So what exactly HAVE you been doing?!?"

Shen looked around a little guiltily. "I built a shredder gun."

The Commander scratched his chin. "A shredder gun." Shen nodded. "What's a shredder gun do. And if you say it shreds, I'll be sure you and that poor engineer trade places for a bit."

Shen paled slightly. "It's a powerful gun that will shred the armor off of everything in a wide path. Does solid damage too."

The Commander looked slightly intrigued. "Well, that's good. Go ahead and deploy to the troops ASAP."

Shen looked around sheepishly again. "It's....not for the troops actually."

The Commander raised an eyebrow.

"It's for SPARK."

The Commander slammed down his hands on the console. "What on EARTH have you been doing!?!? We have over a dozen soldiers that ALL need upgrades, weapon, grenades, armor...and you have the GALL to upgrade your pet project back here? Until I give you the signal, you will NOT upgrade that robot again, or it will find itself trying to fly from several thousand feet up. Is that UNDERSTOOD?!?"

"You think this is EASY back here?!?"

"I SAID, is that UNDERSTOOD!"

Shen snapped to attention in a semi-mock salute. "Sir yes Sir!"

The Commander stormed out of engineering.
