The Only Answer

Many are heavy laden
And cast down
Carrying a great burden
Pushing them down
The joy in them taken
And the strength in them weaken
Their livelihood stolen
And relationships rotten
They seek and search
But do not find
They go to reach
But fall behind
Though they see
They are blind
Though they think
Nothing comes to mind
There is only
One true solution
That can solely
Overcome this problem
Jesus is the only answer
To those who are stricken by labor
For He is able to give rest
To those who are in test
His Yoke be taken
And the burden lighten
The soul is rested
And the spirit elated
For He is gentle
And lowly in heart
Only He is able
To restore joy to the heart
Nothing is easier
Nor is anything better
Than to be in His Love
Which extends from Heaven above
