|Connor Kenway|Modern AU! [#24]

As you strolled through the school lunchroom you heard your brother, Brian call for you. You rolled your eyes and ignored him before you made your way to your table with Connor. You smiled at him as he noticed you walking over to him. He returned your smile before he moved his backpack out of the way so you could sit down beside him. You placed your food down and then sat down beside him. He leaned over a pressed a kiss to your temple causing you to smile. He then started to eat his food and you did the same. You even reached over and stole some of his food thinking that he wouldn't notice, but boy he did. You tried to hurry up snatch your food away from him once he was trying to get some of yours but he wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you closer to him as he grabbed some food off of your plate and ate it.

You smiled and laughed together the whole lunch. But sadly the bell rang and it was back to reality. The two of you got up and threw away your stuff before you intertwined your hands together. He smiled at you before the two of you started walking to class.

"Psst . . . [Your Name] . . ." You turned around and grabbed the two pieces of paper that the girl behind you had. You smiled at her before you turned back around. You opened the first one and frowned recognizing the handwriting:

Can you at least talk to us at home, [Your Name]? We've said that we accept you being with Connor.

You rolled your eyes before you folded the paper and ripped in half. You lazily reached over to the other piece of paper before opening it and smiling. Instantly recognizing the handwriting scrawled out onto the paper, you smiled:

Roadtrip?

It said in bold print. You smiled once more and stuffed the paper into your jeans before turning around and nodding in his direction, he smiled back at you before going back to his work, you did the same and went through the school day casually. After classes we finally done, Connor had made sure to meet you by your final class before the two of you had started walking home together. The whole the time the two of you had spent talking and joking with one another.

"So, Connor?" You said looking up at him, he hummed in response and looked down at you.

"The Roadtrip?" You asked again before he smiled at you. He leaned down and brought your hand up to his lips. He pressed a kiss to it as you smiled, "A few of my friends wanted to go camping, something that we do as a tradition every year, and I wanted you to come along as well," You got on your tippy toes before pressing a soft kiss to his lips, he smiled into the kiss before he snaked his hands under your knees before wrapping your legs around his waist. He walked the two of you by a nearby tree and pushed you against it. You placed your hands on his cheeks, caressing them with your thumbs as the two of you were smiling like idiots. 

The two of you pulled away for air, breathing heavy and staring into one another's eyes. 

"C-Connor...," You trailed off, your voice failing you as you tried to confess how you truly felt about him. He reached up and tucked a piece of hair behind your ear before pecking your lips, "Yes, [Your Name]," His warm brown orbs never leaving your own. You gulped and then leaned up to press another kiss onto his lips. You slowly pulled away, and whispered onto his lips, "I-I... I love you."
