Two years later.

"Y'all don't have shit in this fridge besides fruit and salad." TJ said as he went through my refrigerator.

"Sunny's on a diet, that's why." I explained.

"Big fine do not need a diet. She thick in ALL the right places." Cory added.

I shook my head and rolled my eyes at them. Cory and TJ are both visiting me for the week since Cory doesn't have any upcoming shows and Tyshawn is on spring break from college. A lot of things have changed in the past two years--some good, some bad.

Early last year I made the big decision to move to New Orleans for good, it made sense since the house was paid for. I'm still in school and working a decent job out here. Sunny graduated college and moved down here with me so we're roomies. She works as a dentist and we both sell bundles together as a lil side hustle. We both really like it here, it's always something to do. Cierra is in Houston and still attending TSU working on her degree to become a dermatologist. I think she'll move down here one day, I know she misses us.

My baby brother has grown into a little man who's making big moves for himself. He's on his grind and making millions like the boss he is. In the past three years, Cory has set records and is taking over the rap game. He's matured and grown so much since he first got out there. Don't get me wrong, he's still cocky, but he's humbled a bunch. He has two albums out and continues to release music for his fans. I'm the proudest big sister ever. He deserves everything that he has because he worked hard for it. Him and TJ are still best friends and are closer than before. I've grown closer to TJ as well, he's like my little brother too.

Ant is also succeeding in life. He's been all over the world with his name in lights. From television to awards, Antonio has done it. He's still signed to Slim and although he only has one album out, he's working on a lot of projects. He still resides in Houston and he's doing really well for himself. Unfortunately, we've been broken up for a year now.

It was around the time he released First Year Out and he was at the peak of his career. I had gotten used to not seeing him so that wasn't the problem, we had just grown apart I guess. Whenever we would see each other, it was like we were homies and not in a relationship. Our schedules didn't link up and I'll admit I fucked up when I stopped making an effort to see him while he was in town. School was getting real hectic for me and I didn't make time for him. When we did get to see each other, he was always tired or trying to work while spending time with me. Eventually, we came to a mutual decision to just be friends. It hurt me, but I knew things weren't working. Since then, I've been single and to myself. I can't speak for Ant, I stopped checking three months after we broke up. I still got love for him even though I haven't seen or talked to him in months.

"Where is Sunny anyway? I haven't seen her since y'all left Houston." TJ stuffed his mouth with leftover pizza.

"Work, she should be home soon." I replied, watching him leave crumbs on the table.

"I love a working woman. Tay you gotta take us out tonight, put us on some of your New Orleans homegirls." Cory laughed.

"Um, no. You here to spend time with me, not cake up with some hoes."

As we continued to talk, Sunny walked through the front door. She took her shoes off and I could already tell she was tired, she's always working long hours. Sunny undid her messy bun and came into the kitchen and sat at the table with us.

"Ughhh, I forgot these fools was in town for the week." She playfully rolled her eyes.

"Don't be like that, you know you missed us. Sexy ass." Cory grabbed her hand.
