*four years ago*

I am still with the hunters.
They kept me on an island. I don't know where it was because most of the time during the trip I was knocked out. All year they gave me food and water, but I didn't want it. Only when I really needed it, I ate something.
They also brought me to those dragon auctions, but never sold me. I don't know why, but it was like they tested me. Well, it felt like it.
The auctions were the worst, but being locked up was bad as well. It's weird to be a prisoner. And they never really waisted their time for me or something.
But that one day...

I woke up because I heard shouting hunters. I thought they would bring in a new dragon, but they came into my cage. I jumped up and wanted to take off, but they caught me just in time. They held me down but left one wing free, I wasn't sure why.
Then a man with rare clothes came in. He held some daggers and walked toward me.
A hunter held up my right wing and the man came closer. Then from out of nowhere I felt a burning pain just underneath my right wing. It was like they wanted to take my skin. I fought hard and eventually I broke out.
An adrenaline boost went through me and I flew away. Away from the cages, away from the hunters, away from the past.

I was flying till I could barely move my wings and landed on an island far away from the hunters. I landed somewhere in the woods and further on the island i saw a couple houses but I didn't really care.

I fell asleep with a burning pain and weak wings.

I'm finally free... Right?
