Birthday Party

"Hey Steve. Where are we goin? This ain't the way to the house." Soda asked confused.
"Yeah man I think you took the wrong turn or somethin." Dal said.
"Nope Dal I didn't. I'm goin to get Shelby somethin for her Birthday."
"But Steve it's 2 in the mornin." Skylar whined.
"This store stays open 24/7."
"What are you gettin her." Leah asked.
"You'll see." I smirked.

We pulled up to this store called Meigs Jewelry Store.
"Steve what kind of jewelry are you gettin her?" Leah smirked. We all got out of the car.
"I'm gettin her a promise ring."
"Two......are Stevie's grownin up." Soda faked cried.....again.
"I know man I know. What are we gonna do?" Two hugged Soda and they 'cried' into each others shoulders.
"Will you two shut up already." I groaned.
"I'm sorry but it's just...it's just that we are gonna miss our baby boy." Soda 'sniffled'. I rolled my eyes.
"You know man....you better not hurt our little sister." Dally put his arm around my shoulders and squeezed my collar bone a little to tight.
"I won't....me and Greg already had this talk."
"Oh....how did that go?"
"It went good. I just had to promise to protect hurt and not to hurt her and.....I had to help clean his guns."
"Wait a minute...guns. As in more than one?"
"Yeah. He asked me to bring him his bag and lock the door. He pulled out his shot gun first but he had a rifle and a few hand guns and a ton of ammo."
"Damn man I feel sorry for ya. You better keep that promise or I'll pull out my guns."
"Dally....I'm gonna keep that promise. That's what this ring is for."
"All right man.....let's go in. I need somethin for Skylar's birthday to."
"Dal are you gonna...."
"Yup. I'm gonna give her a promise ring to."
"With what?"
"Some money I've saved up from tips at Bucks."
"Ok."

"Hello how can I help yall today?" Some guy who looked gay asked.
"I just need a promise ring."
"What size?" Shit! I forgot about that.
"Size 9.5." Leah said. Thank God I brought her.
"Okay. In this case here." There were tons of rings there but I spotted the one I wanted right away. It had to hearts linked together one with clear diamonds and one with black.
"That one."
"Okay. That'll be $100." I gave him my debit card. (A/N I don't know how much they cost back then.)
"Thank you."
"I hope she says yes." The guy said. Oh shit! I haven't thought about that. What if she says no!!
"Distract skylar while I talk to Leah." Dal whispered.
"Okay."
"Thanks man."
"Hey sky can you come her for a second."
"Sure."

Dally's POV
"Leah."
"What Dal?"
"What size ring does Skylar wear."
"8."
"Thanks."
"Oh Dally."
"Yeah."
"She likes simple things."
"Ok." I motioned that gay guy towards me.
"How may I help you?"
"I need a promise ring size 8."
"Right here in this case." There was so many rings it was a tough choice. I stood there for awhile. I found a simple ring that was delicate and pretty, just like her, well maybe not just like her she's pretty fiery.
"That one."
"$95 please." I took out my wallet and gave him cash. I still had some left. I hid the box from Skylar.

Steve's POV
Dally better hurry Sky is getting tired of talking about the ring.
"Hey guys." Dal said. Finally!!
"Ready?" I asked.
"Yeah." They said.

Soda's POV
"Yeah." We said.
"Hey you." We all turned around. It was that gay looking guy.
"You." He said pointing at me.
"What?"
"Call me." He said doing that call me signal by his ear. Everyone started laughing.
"I'm straight man."
"Yeah he's straight." Leah said kissing my cheek.
"If they break up he'll call you." Two-Bit laughed.
"Okay. I'll be waiting sexy." That guy said. He purred.
"Guys let's go.....please." I said. We walked outside.
"I can't believe he did that." I said disgusted.
"Can I be your best man?" Steve said laughing
"I hate you."
