Safe and sound(Emison AU)

The first letter home

*Slight jump it has now been 2 mounths

ALISON'S POV:
It has been to months since Elmy left for boot and it's been tough I'll say that but I'm okay right now I'm heading to the mail box now it's been a few day's since I last checked it I grab the pile of  envolps and headed back to my house I put my keys down and shuffle through the pile of papers

Bills, trash, a letter from emily more bills wait a letter from emily I drop the rest of the mail onto the floor I almost run to my counter searching throught the cabnits I finally found some sicors and basicly rip open the envolope and pull out the paper and begin to read it

Dear ali,
Hey baby how's it going back home I hope you're okay I really miss you. Things have been okay around here it feels weird you know. I want you to know that I am keeping my promise I hope you are too. Look I don't have much time to write I have gird shift I promise I will try to write more. I, miss you  any and I love you okay

I smile and run my hand across the paper and trace her name I quickly grab some paper and start writing.

Dear emily,
I miss you too baby so much like you don't even know. I'm so happy to hear from you I didn't expect it to take this long but I'm holding on. I'm keeping the promise too I would never do anything to hurt you or our relationship. So how are you how long till you graduate bootcamp I really want to see you. I hope everything is okay with you over there. I can't wait to hear more about your training goodnight baby I love you

I bite my lip after I finish writing I pull out an envelope and tuck the letter in it gently I seal it and kiss it I grab my shoes and keys and head to the post office to send it out to emily I think I should get a letter back in a couple of days of maybe weeks it really depends on the day it gets send out I drop it off and head home. I pull up to my house and walk in I set my stuff down again and grab Emily's letter I run up stairs and plop down onto the bed I hold the letter to my chest and smile.After a little while I start to feel tired I get up and gently out the letter down I walk to the closet and open it I stare at Emily's side and smile I grab one of her old sharks shirt and some booty shorts I out them on and turn off the lights I cradle into bed and grab her letter.

Al: "goodnight emily" I kiss the letter and turn over and fall into a confertable sleep, I missed this type of sleep the feeling of being safe next to her even though she's so far away hold the letter and smelling her shirt makes me feel good like she is right next to me it's a feeling that I never want to lose.
