When she gave that smile, it seemed as if the world stopped so elegantly and beautifully that Alex slipped into a resplendent oblivion. Beyoncé's smile was so genuinely sweet with the perfect touch of shyness that it forced an unexpected warmth to run through Alex's veins. Alex was so proud to call her a sister. There she was: Beautiful, sweet and finally free and this made Alex so happy for her that she couldn't even express how she truly felt because there were no words she could possibly find. Alex was just that type of person, she was so happy for everyone else because she was an empath. It was one of her best qualities and one of the reasons why Beyoncé liked her so much. Today Alex had brought the twins to see Beyoncé and just as she was about to leave the three of them to their own mischievous antics she turned to look at Beyoncé once again.

"Bye!" She told them all, taking a mental note to make sure she picked them up tomorrow before Carter got there for their usual session. The three of them waved at her and she made her way to her car wondering how long it would be until Beyoncé had children of her own. She had no doubt that Beyoncé would be an incredible mother to say the least. As she began driving to work she also wondered how long it would be before another man stole her heart the way her brother once had. She couldn't deny that a part of her would hate to see Beyoncé with anyone else when she knew how well Carter and Beyoncé seemed to fit together.

What was it that made them so perfect for each other? Was it the fact that he was the only person- other than Angie- who she's ever really opened up to? Was it the fact that he was her first love? Was it the fact that there were parts of her that no one, except for him had ever seen or ever will see?

That last thought caught Alex off guard, what was a part of Beyoncé that Carter had seen but no one else had. Everyone is a mixture and combination of multiple traits and contradicting personalities that we only show to certain people at a certain time. It's just a part of our subconscious and we can't control it. The Beyoncé Alex knew was Smart and Confident and Alex had only heard of the more vulnerable side, was that the side Carter had seen? Did he see her at her finest? And at her lowest? Did he see her when she was lost in thought and mumbled words beneath her breath? Alex knew that Noah was the only person who knew her like that and once again she could not imagine Beyoncé spending the rest of her life with anybody but Carter. Unfortunately, she didn't have much of a say in the matter. It wasn't her decision to make.

Beyoncé sat cross legged on the floor with Eli and Ella on the opposite her. Ella delicately folded paper into little flowers and butterflies while Eli painted and constructed a little home from the paper people. The three had decided to build a house out of a few things they had lying around. Mostly paper which Ella strategically folded into perfect shapes, some glue, tape a few straws for  structural support and paints that the twins had brought with them. The house was Ella's idea but Eli would never miss a chance to make a cool house with as many rooms as he wanted. He decided it would have a boys room only and a game room where only he was allowed. Bella didn't object much because she dedicated the garden to herself and so she'd let him have a room or two. Beyoncé didn't care much for the house, she just liked making things with the kids and seeing them interact.

"I missed you" Beyoncé told them, Eli lifted his head to look at her and smiled innocently and it wasn't until she noticed Ella still messing around with the paper that Beyoncé remembered the fact that Ella couldn't hear her. Eli could read this on the woman's face and after years of being a type of translator for Ella, he didn't mind doing it for Beyoncé. He had never felt the need to translate when around family because they all put time and effort into learning sign language but for now he'd have to. Eli tapped his twin sister on the shoulder and signed to her what Beyoncé had said. Ella lifted her head to Beyoncé and gave her a large smile which caused her heart to melt.
