Hailie and Lexa stand at the entrance to their plane, almost not believing their eyes. Others push past them, giving them glares for blocking the small space.
They both back up a couple of steps and look at each other. As they look at each other they burst into squeals and start to jump up and down.
"Oh my God this is actually happening!" They both say in unison.
They both quickly stop jumping and squealing when they hear someone clear their throat. They turn and see who seems to be the copilot staring at them.
Hailie and Lexa both regain their posture and serious faces, not being able to help the deep red that has spread across both of their cheeks.
Lexa brushes a piece of hair behind her ear and takes a deep breath, walking onto the plane, clutching her carry on bag. Hailie pauses before following, stealing one last glance at the Kansas City airport. She then turns back towards the plane, avoiding eye contact with the copilot. She walks with her head up down the aisle just as the flight attendant says over the intercom, "We are now preparing to begin our flight to South Korea."
