Fallen for a thief

In which Tyler is a hero with a crush on a thief. But everything is a little deeper than it seems...

Warning: smaller Ethan than irl (yes that's possible). Like goddamn he can't even reach the highest shelf in the supermarket. Fuck, Ethan.

Also, unoriginal plot. Like, what happened to my mind? I mean I get it gets worse with a fever, but really? Hero!Tyler and Thief!Ethan? I could as well make a punk! Pastel! Fic, just as original (they are rly cute tho).

Tyler turned on the TV, immediately changing the channel to the news. He took off his shirt and fell down on the couch. His silver cape laid spread out over the back. As soon as the screen showed the news, a video of bad quality appeared on the TV.

A boy who appeared young fell through the roof of the museum, without a hole or hatch. He just fell down, out of nowhere, landing on two feet and a hand. He looked straight into the camera, but somehow the alarm didn't go off. He obviously grinned, although most of his face, including his mouth, was hidden underneath a blue fabric mask. A long black and white striped scarf waved behind him with every step he took, his soft shoes not making a sound on the stone floor. He shove his hands in his pockets as if it were his everyday walk through the park. His baggy pants swept over the floor. He wore a tank top, hugging his body and showing off his barely muscled, yet perfect arms. He fiddled a little with something not visible and opened up the glass door and picked out the diamond. Nothing went off. Sometimes he even seemed to fade away from the camera. He showed the diamond to it and showed his arm on which in black letters was written something.

Good luck catching me.

Tyler smirked. Even though he should hate him, for being a thief and himself was a hero, he felt an unexplainable attraction to the boy. He didn't know why – he hadn't even seen his face – but he felt so familiar, so challenging, so interesting, so...necessary.

He had already a name in the underworld, after this one catch. Phantom Thief was what they called him.

He closed his eyes and tried to ignore the fierce blue eyes he saw on his television screen.

"Scheid? Immediately to the office." Tyler groaned, quickly combing his brown curls with his hand to make him look decent. He buttoned up a flannel and left his house.

Ten minutes later he arrived at the office. It appeared a normal office at first – a blonde lady picked up phone calls, sometimes scribbling a little down with a black pen on a blank piece of paper. She looked up when the tall figure of Tyler appeared before her. "Hello Amy," he greeted, receiving a nod and a smile. He showed his ID-card and walked into the room behind her. He pressed the button of the elevator, held his ID before a hidden scan in the screw and the plate where the buttons were opened up, revealing a floor beneath all the others. He pressed the button, and all the way down his mind was filled with a certain blue eyed thief.

"Tyler! Great, we just needed you." A redhead walked towards him and opened his arms in a greeting. Tyler rolled his brown eyes. "Really? You called me, making it seem urgent..." The redhead made a "psh" sound and nodded. "It is. I-I think Amy likes me too." Tyler patted his broad shoulder. "Of course, go for it Mark." It had been countless times since Mark decided to ask the blonde woman out. Her first reaction had been "our relationship has to be strictly professional", which changed into "I like us better as friends Mark" and "Not interested".

"Talking about relationships, Ty, when are you going to get a boyfriend?" Tyler sighed. You had two kinds of friends: the kind that accepted you but made fun of being gay and the kind that tries to hook you up with every boy you meet.
