Tyler saw he hurt the boy. When they moved in together they made a promise to tell each other everything.

-two years ago-

Tyler hugged the boy tightly. "Shhh," he shushed. He tried to push away the proud and happy feelings as he felt two arms pull him closer. He put Ethan on his lap. "It's going to be alright. I'll always be here for you." Ethan let out a few sobs and pulled away. Tyler couldn't help but think the boy looked still pretty when crying. A lot of people were ugly criers, but Ethan still looked pretty. His cheeks flushed and his eyes barely changed. However this feeling was changed quickly into sadness.

"M-my parents...kicked me out..." Tyler brought the boy to his chest once again. "Why? You're basically perfect?" A sad chuckle escaped the boy's throat. "I-I told my parents I didn't want to inherit their company. T-that I want to study psychology. A-and they wanted to change my mind but I-I told t-them I was sure. T-they told me I-I'm a shame to my family and t-that they n-never want to see me again..." Ethan father was the owner of a well going company. His wife, Mrs Nestor, and Ethan's mother was his secretary. They had raised Ethan to be a good new boss but little did they know Ethan didn't want that.

Ethan smiled widely and Tyler felt relieved. "I'm so glad you're here Ty. That I can talk to you." Tyler smiled. "I'm glad I can be here for you. That I can listen to you." He resisted the urge to kiss his younger friend and grabbed his hand. "Let's tell each other everything and never lie. Promise?" "Promise."

Tyler felt bad about not telling his love and best friend – after all, he was the one that made the promise – but he felt like this was something he couldn't bother the boy with. He thought back at that morning.

He was walking over the streets, thinking about what happened a few days ago. It was like people forgot him, even the ones he talked to yesterday. His eyes fell on a redhead and a blonde holding hands. "Hey guys!" He waved. He noticed how Mark clutched her hand tighter and made himself taller. "Who are you?" he said, his voice lower than usual. Amy had a faint sparkle of recognition in her eyes. Tyler froze but he smiled. "Sorry, I mistook you for someone else." He kept up his fake smile all the way home.

"I don't feel comfortable telling it right now, I'm sorry." Ethan nodded sadly and left the room.

That was the first time the promise was broken.

"And that concludes our presentation today." Ethan turned around and faced the class. "Any questions?" A few hands raised. Why do you remember me? Why nobody else? Why does everyone forget me?

Ethan was Tyler's psychology teacher even though he was three years younger. Did he mind his nineteen year old friend was his teacher? No, the more time he could spend admiring Ethan's ass in those nice skinny jeans of him. He did get good grades though – Ethan sometimes tutored him at home. Which didn't help because it was very distracting. The way his arm sometime just slightly brushed over Tyler's, the way he took his pen between his pink lips, or how he nearly sat close enough to sit on his lap. Ethan was driving him insane.

"Good weekend everyone," Ethan greeted and packed his bag. Tyler woke up from his thoughts and realized he had again spend the whole lesson staring at Ethan and in his own mind. "Tyler, can you stay for a little?" he called out. Tyler nodded, answering with "yes professor". Their friendship was always hidden – even though Ethan was younger, they were still teacher and student.

"Tyler," Ethan said, his voice kind of hoarse from too much talking. "Are you feeling unwell? You're spacing out the whole time. Something is wrong. And...it has to do with me? Did I do something wrong? Am I bad at explaining? Is that why you need so much tutoring?" Tyler quickly cut him off by pressing his hand against his lips. "No, it has nothing to do with you."
