She gazed up at the alter where her aunt stood, attempting not to shed any tears. She failed. This day was supposed to be sad, but she felt worse then sad. It felt as though something was eating away at her soul.
       She couldn't help but to think it was her own fault. If only she has stayed behind. She could have said something to save her. Julie glanced once again to her brother and sister. They too were crying. She had no way to comfort them.
       Christine, she was only eight. She would never truly get to know her mother. Ian, he was the oldest, he knew her so much more, yet he felt just as much pain. More, even.
      And Julie, well Julie was only ten. How do you go on in life, when your crutch is gone? Never to return.
That question still plagues her mind. To this very day.
