What Is Your Book "Shards Of The Heart" About? Shards of the heart was first written when I was of age eleven, and is currently still ongoing. It deals with the topics of anorexia, bulimia, self-image and depression. After the loss of her only friend, Quinn, who suffers from anorexia, finds herself alone in a bottomless abyss of depression, starting to feel her sanity slipping as she struggles to be labeled as "beautiful" and just to fit in. This story is about moving on, and dealing with the cruel harshness of society that pull us down.
