Marinette crossed her arms as she walked down the empty sidewalk, Nathaniel following.

"Marinette, please get back in the car!" He begged.

"No! If you are going to break your promise, I'm going to go home and deal with this on my own!" Marinette shouted. 

"Marinette. I'm sorry! Please, come back!" He sighed. 

She turned around and faced him, "I love Chat. I will always love Chat. I will only love Chat."

"I know," Nathaniel clenched his fists and then released them, "I know and I'm sorry."

"I forgive you." Marinette smiled. 

"I don't." Chat growled. 

"Chat!" Marinette stood in front of Nathaniel.

"Move. I'm going to rip him to pieces."

"Chat, no!" 

"Is he forcing you to live with him?!"

"No! I told you, you'll understand soon. Just not now!"

"Marinette. If you're going to hide things from me, maybe we shouldn't be together."

"Chat .. no. I - " Marinette's eyes watered.

"Calm down dude. She'll tell you soon." Nathaniel butted in.

"Stay out of this!" Chat yelled.

"No! Look Chat Noir, Marinette will tell you when she's ready!" Nathaniel seethed.

"Chat ... I'm sorry. You're right. I guess we're over." Marinette ran away, tears pouring down her cheeks.

Chat's face softened, his anger fled, "Wait - Marinette!"  

Marinette hid in an alley, crying loudly and violently.
