He tasted the flavor

It danced across his tongue

His fangs perched in his mouth longing for her, needing her

Gaining close on his pray, he thought of how she tasted

But remembered she was a forbidden fruit to his kind

Being misguided by instincts, he didn't care

She began to get scared

She begged for her life, she begged to be free

But all he wanted was a drink from thee

Swearing to kill him if she got the chance

But seeing who he was, all hope faded fast

Heart rate raised, clutching to life, never feeling free in a moment of strife

"Please sir, I beg you." She pleaded

He seemed to want to see what she needed

He stopped in his tracks, but was very aware, that she was strong and could kill him if she dared

"Let me go and I promise you this, you can have your life and you may be dismissed."

He thought of his hunger, growing fast. The forbidden fruit was oh so sweet. He leaned down and took along sniff

Out in the darkness, her life passed her by

She suddenly relised she was going to die

"Don't worry fair maiden, it will only pinch. Then you will be mine forever, its as simple as any snitch."

She snickered and pestered and homered away, but her life was slowly slipping away

And with no word coming from thee

The creature bit down, setting her free

The forbidden fruit was lost that day

But still she is around to say

"Don't fall in love with a forbidden fruit, or you will truly regret it."
