There was only a week left before Parker's plan would go through, until graduation, and then she would be free.
She went everywhere across town, checking every last piece so her plan would work out. Just to add a little something special to her plan, she went to Esmeralda's children to get approval. Parker wanted to surprise the woman she considered to be a mother figure.
Michael went to only two places. He went to the store to get the special thing for his plan. It was a small gesture that he's hoped would help. The other place he went was his bedroom, trying to figure out how to assemble the most important part; his words.

His words would make or break the situation, because that special little thing alone would not change her mind.
