"How am I supposed to find a job if I haven't graduated yet?" I asked Jack as I brushed my hair.

"There are jobs you can get with your current qualification babe," he looked into the mirror I was looking at.

"Probably some fast food place or something," I shrugged & took out the makeup from my bag. I started to apply as Jack stared at me through the mirror, his undone tie hanging from his neck.

"What?" I giggled.

"You just look so beautiful. Regardless," he smiled & kissed my forehead.

"Thank you. You look so official & handsome with your suit. You should wear it often," I smirked & turned around. I grabbed the end of his tie & pulled him closer to me.

"I like this," he smirked & kissed me softly. I turned around & scrambled in my bag to pull out two joints.

"You want?" I offered as I put one in my mouth.

"Baby when we nail those jobs we'll celebrate okay," he explained & took the one out of my mouth. I nodded & finished doing my makeup.

We headed outside for the car & started our journey to what could be our new lives.

"How'd it go?" Jack asked as he was driving home.

"I'm the new cashier at Burger King," I chuckled with a mini salute.

"That's good," he smiled & rested his hand on my thigh.

"What did you get?" I asked him.

"Junior assistant manager at Tradil Incorporated," he smirked proudly.

"Babe that's great," I smiled excitedly.

"I know. All for us," he gave me a small peck.

"Yeah," I smiled & then it slowly started to fade.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"I need to go home," I uttered.

"Right now?" he asked. I nodded slowly, staring at nothing.

"Everything okay?" he asked. I nodded again. He nodded & changed route.

My mind began to run, run a thousand miles with a thousand things on my mind.

After some time he pulled up outside my house.

"When can I come get you?" he asked a bit down.

"I'll text you. I just need some time to do something," I explained.

"Okay. Take care. I love you," he whispered.

"I love you too," I gave him a kiss on the forehead & got out of his car. I watched as he drove away & walked into my house. I pulled out my mom's laptop & went into her emails as I began writing.

I knew what I was doing was crazy but maybe it was good for me.
