I held the nurses hand as I was rolled away. I called Ruby on my way in the delivery room.
"Rubs? The baby is coming. Today right now." I grunt into the phone
"Oh my god! Are you serious?" She freaks out
"Yes. Ruby we're having a baby." I smile and shed a tear.
"We're having a baby." I can feel her smiling through the phone
"I love you."
"You can do this my love. I'm booking my ticket home now I'll be there as soon as you wake up tomorrow."
"Okay. I love you Ruby." I say as the doctor tells me to get off the phone
"Y/n! It's time to push." The doctor says lifting my sheet
"Ughhhhhhhh."
"Great y/n! Good! Almost there"
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,"
I look around in the room and to the nurses. They pull my baby away from me after cutting the cord.
"Wait where are you taking y/b/g?" I yell
They turned away cleaning y/b/g and a nurse turned around
"Y/n. Your baby. It's not alive. I'm so sorry."
"What?"
