We made eye contact, his blue watery ones made me laugh. Not once did I regret leaving that place. I drove for miles not knowing where I was until a small town came into sight.
Immediately I rushed to the squat building that was labelled Police Station and poured out my story. Surprisingly I was taken seriously and not called a crazy lady.
Apparently it'd been two weeks and there was a national search for me and him. People said I had run off with Luke, others guessed right.
He was found still passed out, I gave him minor concussion unfortunately. The only thing I regret is not hitting him harder.
Now Luke had been sentenced to prison for life and I couldn't be happier, I got justice for all those people including Michael.
The rest of my life is going to be hard, the man I love is dead and the other person I thought I could trust kidnapped me.
So I started seeing a therapist, he helped me a lot.
Yes I still cry over him.
But I got justice.
