Red Riding Hood

Mamma didn't like me anyway
I wasn't blonde, my eyes weren't grey.
Daddy left to nowhere,
Granny lived away,
I could've just died any day.

Everything I owned was my clothes
A pair of socks made of wool,
A little ugly used dress
And a cat that wasn't any fool.

One day mamma got tired
She wanted to ride horses on that night
She put on me an old red riding hood
An a basket with my cat
And some barely good ol' flashlight.

The forest was lonely,
but my music could take it.
The path was scary,
But I wasn't scared a bit.

I can hear a soft breathing...
Someone is coming near...
The shadows of the night
Are moving aside
The moon is showing clear.

You, and your fiery eyes,
God, you got me, kissed me goodnight
Little kitty clawed at you,
I just threw him aside
Oh my God,
I went on the Big Bad Wolf's Night!

Winters passed, mamma never called me back
Every night I went out,
Using an old door hack.
Woke up in the morning, lying on your side
Satisfied?
Oh, maybe just surprised.

You whispered on my ear that you loved me
That you'd make me yours,
Love me like no one ever had.
I started to believe all your howling
But the fact was, winter hadn't passed.

He faded,
And faded
And faded
Like the snow on the trees
Summer shone brightly,
And I waited
And waited
Like an ol' cow waiting foolishly for him!

Moons have passed, now he's back,
But this winter I won't be opening my hands
It froze away, what he said
Red Riding Hood came here to stay
Ya' better go whimpering somewhere else!

This is some kind of song I made up... It's like a weird mix of country and indie :vvv and yeah, I love Red Riding Hood :3
