I sit at table twiddling my thumbs, occasionally grabbing the mug beside me taking a sip.
I see a sleeping Hope walking downstairs, rubbing sleep from her eyes.
"Hope..?"
"Goodmorning mommy" She crawls into my lap and place her head on my chest
I do love the way she's still little, I wrap my arms around her
"Stay this little forever please"

Lucas wanted to come over to spend the day with Hope. Honestly -- I didn't want him to come over.
'No, now leave me alone'
'Maya - if you don't let me see Hope, I'm gonna call the cops'
I sigh
'Fine'

A hour later Lucas arrives at the door and had his arms wide open. Hope runs and jumps into his arms.
"Why did you have to make me go there Maya?"
"I'm not into arguing with you right now.." I walk over to the kitchen and put our dishes in the sink
"Maya - I wasn't cheating on you"
"So you say" I say roughly tossing a dish into sink

Later That Night // 6:32 PM
Lucas was sitting on the couch with Hope. As if on cue, the minute I came down the stairs I hear a small knock. I head towards the door and open it.
"Peaches.." Riley pulls me into a hug
"Auntie Riley!" Hope runs towards Riley and hugs her legs. She then looks up and kisses Riley's tummy
"So, where's Pluto?"
"With Farkle. Would you like to take Pluto and Hope to Disney World tomorrow?"
"Sure"
"Yay" Hope cheers happily
Lucas arises from the chair and greets Riley. As he scoot pass Riley he looks at me.
"I didn't do it" He say before kissing Hope on her forehead and walking out
"He's still apologizing?"
"Yeah.."
"I'm beginning to think - that he's telling the truth. You should forgive him" Riley say sitting down
"I'm gonna put Hope to bed"
I get Hope bathed and tucked in. I sprint downstairs and Riley looks at me
"You should really forgive him Maya" Riley say trying to negotiate, "There's only so much he can take and I know you still have feelings for him" She pauses "Do you?"
"Yeah" I say softly
