"You what?" I scream at all of them.

"We didn't really do it-" Mandy starts.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I snap at her.

"It wasn't us, we were suggested to do it by the officers watching after the house." Mandy continues.

I'm taken aback by this. One of the officers suggested this? Why would they do that? I know it sounds harsh, but I couldn't care less about what happens to them. It doesn't concern me.

Something goes off inside of me and I suppose that it was their boss telling them to do it.

"Why would they do that?" I ask.

"I don't know..." Carla trails.

"How do you-" I stop myself mid-scream. They're out there, why not ask them myself.

I storm out of the room and head towards the car. The officers step out and look at me like I've gone crazy.

I recognize officer Randal as he looks at me rushing towards them. "Who the hell do you think you are?" I snap when I'm in range.

"Excuse me?" He tilts his head to the side.

"You signed me up for a group therapy! What the hell was that for?" I yell louder.

He sighs, "It wasn't us."

"You had no right to- wait, it wasn't you?" My voice has lowered and I'm confused.

"It was our Captain. She told us to sign you up because she thought it was best for you to get some help," He explains.

"Well I hope she knows I'm not going." I storm away before he can say anything.

I don't know who they think they are signing me up for this. I would much rather stay locked up in the house and be forced to talk to them rather than talk to a bunch of strangers.

I make it to my room and slam my door shut. I have to figure out when everything is going to go down. Luke's sentence, where everyone's going, what's going to happen to me, everything.

That reminds me about Jason for some reason. The last time I saw him was when I was in the hospital. I then realize that he didn't come see me like he said. I'm suddenly very confused by this if he's trying to make amends with me.

I need to get a taxi to take me down to the courthouse. I dial the taxi service and a car is on its way.

15 minutes after calling, the car is finally here. Rushing down the steps, I grab my hoodie and wallet and run out the door. The car is right at the end of the driveway waiting. I slide into the back and tell him where he needs to take me.

We arrive after around 45 minutes, making me wish I would have brought headphones. I pay the taxi driver and tell him to be back here in 15 minutes. He nods as I start to walk away.

When I enter the courthouse, I feel as if all eyes start turning towards me. I walk slowly to a staring woman at a desk. "Can I help you with something, Ms. McMillan?"

I'm not surprised that she knows my name. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone in here knows my name, but I bet they do. "Uh, yes. I need to speak to someone about the upcoming sentence with my case." That's when all eyes seem to turn back to what they were doing.

My stomach is in knots and if I don't get out of this room right now I may puke. The desk lady calls someone over and tells them to manage the station while she leaves for a minute. She directs for me to follow her and I do.

We enter a room with another lady at a desk. She looks up and peers over at me. Her eyes widen and she stands behind the desk. "Can I help you?" Her voice is very mother-like.

"We need to see Judge Jefferson, please. I'm sorry for the late notice and that we didn't schedule," She tells the woman.

"Oh no. I'm sure it will be fine. Follow me." She knocks on the door behind her and a loud, deep voice says for us to enter.

"There's someone here to see you," She says quietly, stepping aside to put me in view.

"Ms. McMillan, please come in." He ushers for me to come in, waving off the other women. "Do you need something?" He asks me.

"Uh, I don't know exactly when the sentence for Lu- Mr. Bogers will be. No one has informed me of it," I tell him.

He stands and moves over to one of his many filing cabinets. He opens one marked 'M-Z'. I watch as he shuffles through them and finds a file. He opens it and looks at me. "It will be next Monday." His voice is quiet as if I would have flinched if I heard the date. I nod.

"Where exactly do we go?" I probably seem like a complete fool right now.

"Come here to the courthouse and go to the second floor. You will be going to room 213. You will be directed to your seat when you arrive," He explains.

"Thank you." I mumble and stand to leave.

He gives me a sympathetic look as I leave. "Wait, who will be deciding where Mr. Bogers goes?"

"The jury will."

I nod and leave. The woman from the first desk leads me back to the main courthouse room, taking her place where she was. I leave the courthouse after several more stares and wait outside on the curb for the taxi. He arrives almost 3 minutes later, right on time.

I get into the back of the taxi and we set off back towards the house.

We arrive back and I pay him and walk off. I could tell he was trying not to stare at me the entire car ride. When I enter the house, I put my hoodie and wallet up and go upstairs. The girls are all sat in the living room watching me as I go.

I walk into the room and don't even bother shutting the door. I lie down in bed and scoot as close to the wall as I can. I don't exactly think I'm ready to see what happens to Luke. He could get life, but he could also have his accomplices come after me. He always seems to have a new left hand man.

He could also play the crazy card and being Luke, he'll find some way to escape and come back after me or someone. The thought chills me. I can't even cry anymore. I just sit there.

After laying there for what seems like forever, I hear someone enter the room. I don't even bother to look and see who it is. A hand touches my shoulder in a motherly way. I feel like crying now so I do. I turn over and hug Katherine. I forget everything that has happened between us and just cry into her shoulder while she tries to soothe me.

I cry for what feels like hours before lying down and falling asleep.
