(David's POV)

I sit on the cold bed of my dull room, soaking in what had just happened. What happened anyways? This had to be my fault. I was last to see her and she wasn't too pleased with everything that was going on. This was definitely my fault.

Walking out of my room, I search for a familiar doctor. I find one and walk up to her. "Do you know anything about Lucy McMillan? She was just wheeled into the ER..." I trail off.

"All I know is that it will be a while before she comes out. I'm sorry to say this, but if she comes out." She says solemnly.

I walk away without another word. I look up when I hear footsteps running down the hall straight at me. Luke was running, looking around frantically. He catches sight of me and grips me by the collar, slamming me roughly against the wall. "What's your problem?" I ask him angrily. What is he even doing here?

"What'd you do to her, huh? I need her to live," He growls at me. People stare, but no one does anything. How does he even know about her? He must have people working for him in the hospital.

"I didn't- I didn't mean to do anything. I was just talking to her and we just- we started arguing. I don't know, she just suddenly blacked out," I sputter. The last thing I need is for Luke to kill me, and he'll definitely do that if Lucy ends up dying.

"I swear if she dies, I'll have your head. Do you understand me? But you better believe, this doesn't change anything. I will be back for her, and your sorry ass." Luke shoves me roughly and I let my tears fall. I lean against the wall, embarrassed at what just happened. Still, Luke storms away, glaring angrily at the bystanders.

(Lucy's POV)

I jolt up from an electric shock. I'm awake and there's beeping next to me again. I wish I was dead. It was so peaceful and I wasn't hurting. Luke wasn't there. Doctors are all around me working on something. I can't feel anything. My body is numb and I feel empty.

I take one last look at all of the doctors. Then I black out, unable to stay awake.

I wake up what seems like days later, yet it was only a few hours. There's a large bandage on my heart. What happened? I remember pressing the panic button and then blacking out, waking a while later and hearing shouting, then blacking out again. The panic button. I press the button and wait as patiently as possible.

A few doctors and nurses come in smiling at me. I look at them like they're stupid. How could they possibly smile? "Well, how do you feel?" One of the older doctors asks.

"Shit." I simply state. They all sigh in unison and I watch as one of the doctors comes over and checks my vitals. "What happened?" I ask, fearing the worst.

"To start off, you and David got into a fight," That I remember, "You started to scream. You had sat down on your bed and started to have a severe headache. You started to seize so we rushed in and took you to the ER. Your heart stopped several times. We had revived you every time," He finishes. I know for a fact that he made that sound easier than it actually was.

"Okay, great. Now what happened? Why did my heart stop?" I ask, worriedly.

"You have under gone a lot of stress lately. Your heart just kind of gave out after the screaming. The tearing along your vagina has not helped your heart either. Ms. McMillan, were you raped?" My silence answers that question. "How come you never reported you were raped?" He asks, looking at me confused.

I look at him with hope, "Look up my name. It should tell you everything under police reports. Please don't let anyone take me. Please," I beg him.

He looks at me suspiciously and then nods. He and the nurses leave all at once. I sink into my bed, hoping that nobody would hurt me.

The doctor comes back in a few hours later. I look at the time. It's 8:30 pm. I look at him confused. He just smiles widely. "You have a visitor, Ms. McMillan." He leaves and another man comes in. Luke. Oh my gosh. My breathing becomes erratic as the doctor leaves and Luke stalks forward.

"Hello, beautiful," He says bitter sweetly. I cringe.

"What do you want?" I ask shakily.

"You. My plan is in place. If you don't do it, I will not hesitate to kill you," He says menacingly. He pulls out a gun and holds it to his chest while pointing it at me. I do everything to not press the panic button and risk getting shot. My last experience with that was enough to avoid those situations with Luke.

He starts to explain the plan. I'm about to cry when I hear that it's going down tonight. Well, this isn't going to be pleasant. He finishes telling me the rest of the plan and then leaves, smiling evilly. The worst part? David has to come with us. I don't want to have to tell David this.

Perfect timing. David walks in with his head hanging low. Before he can say anything, I'm up and in his arms sobbing. "What's wrong?" He asks, rubbing my back.

I look up at him, "Luke, he's back. He made a plan for him to take us back. What does he have with me? Why does he want me so bad?" I sob.

"Look, we don't have to go, we can tell some-" He starts.

"No, we can't. He has people watching us. Look," I say, nodding my head towards the window. We both turn slowly and we see a built, fit man watching us with an evil grin. "There's more. I saw them, David!" I cry.

"I.. I.." He trails.

"We have to go. There's nothing we can do.." I tell him quietly. He nods. I start to explain the plan to him. He leaves without another word and leaves me alone. I sit on the bed and think about everything to go down tonight. It's going to happen at midnight. That's 2 hours from now.

It's midnight now and the plan is starting. David and I had come out of our rooms at the same time. We looked at each other and nodded. We walk down the long corridor together before we stop at the bathrooms. David goes in the men's and I go into the women's.

I look under the stalls to ensure I am in fact alone. I lock the bathroom door and walk over to the window. I grab the chair in the corner of the bathroom. When I stand up on it, I peer out the window at the dark figure below. Luke is down there waiting, grinning up at me.

I get ready for the jump down. It's about 6 or 7 feet up. I take a deep breath before jumping. I was hoping Luke would catch me, but he does the exact opposite.
